*Pounces* Pretty Birdie! I like birds. Honestly wish there were more of them. Met a guy who was a Red Tailed Hawk/Falcon. Really awesome art. He had his falconers licence and owned both with a bunch of others.

Lets throw up a few avian pics maybe you'll see a few that are cool or nice here's one of a male owl (i think) in a suit. Piercing eyes, stern look perhaps scolding but not inherently creepy i hope. male phoenix, slender body alluring golden eyes powerful yet feminine female griffin with mostly avian features how do these strike you?

I love the last one. Favorite of the three. The green wings don't make much sense on the owl since the rest of him is brown. But they still look good. Nicely shaded and shaped all around. But yeah, third by far is my favorite.Middle one is a druid-esc. I like it. 3nodding

What really struck me as odd is that the owl only has one wing but then again maybe its unfinished. i think what some people might find creepy is they way the beak is shaped. and with good reason, to me, they look very difficult to draw

I don't know though. There's definitely a certain edge to feathers that furs that I think put a lot of people off. Its more dangerous looking whereas furs can be done either way to look menacing or cute/cuddly. I like the edginess of feathers myself.

I dont know either lol but I actually like the avian variety furries it different from the usual feline or canine. Oh this is one of my favorites X3 i had to censor it though... I found it in an adult female avian thread but there was a man part so I was sort of confuzed but then again the peacock does look very fem.

Is his hand reaching where I think it is? o.0 I can see why it's your favorite. This is done extremely well. Most peacocks are feminine looking in real life too. So that artist did it justice. It wasn't until I was in high school that I was corrected about the male peacocks being the ones with the giant plume feathers and females didn't. A favor to ask of you. Would you mind sending me a link or copy of this in a pm without being censored? I want to add it to my collection.

Interesting that this subject would come up, as my Fursona, the one I created, is a mixture of Wolf and a Bird of Prey. bit of a side note is that I volunteer at a SPCA, and we often get some rather...odd avian patients there, and I have to say, a pissed off Bald Eagle is not a fun thing to deal with... And now for the picture show.... BTW, this one I had done professionally, and damn, did it cost a bunch... isn't really the pose/background I wanted, but it shows what I had in mind well enough I think.... Another picture a friend did for me, and the one I usually use as a reference when requesting additional art done of him. And this is a old assed pic of my Fursona... really old, like a decade or more, when I came up with the species...
