The time periods is during the time of the Aztecs, mayans etc. So no technology and try to keep pictures of that old time period.

Guardians can't conceive with humans

No half breeds

Also, Humans CANNOT see the Guardians in their true form. Only in their human form. And guardians can only show their true form to the human once. That's it.

And another thing, you cannot be more than one guardian or important person. However, you CAN be a member of Los Diablos, the bad guys of this story. Or a member of Los Aztecos, the slaves being hunted down by the Diablos led my Hernan Cortez whose goal is to enslave and kill Los Aztecos or the Aztec people.
