Melisidae blushed a touch as the man introduced himself, "Doffle?" she giggled, "Doffle Frolosges, that is quite the name", she said airily. The young woman stepped back and clasped her hands in front of her and curtsied, "The princess's personal guard, it is quite an honor to meet someone so esteemed. I'm Melisidae, but you may call me 'Lis' since my first name is such a mouthful."

Doffle:
Doffle chuckled as she curtsied to him. "There is no need for ou to curtsy to such a man as I." He leaned in as if to stage whisper to Lis. "Besides, you honour me too much. Soon I shall walk around with such a swelled head I wont be able to walk through any door." He winked at her and stood back and straight up. And just then he noticed her grinning at him. He couldn't help but shiver slightly at her, the princess, Avani.

Avani grinned at Doffle as he tried to impress the traveller. He was good at charming the ladies. He also knew it annoyed her when she was around. She was going to torment him about it later. But not now. Se wanted a bath and to get back before she was truly missed by her parents. She was, after all, supposed to be packing for their trips to the other kingdoms.

Lis giggled. She watched Doffle's face pale slightly, she turned around to see a curvy young woman grinning--catlike--at them. Lis recognized her almost instantly as the Princess Avani.
Lis's face paled slightly also as she stared at the ground, composed herself and smiled back at Doffle. "Well that would be a sight to see...I've seen many strange things in my travels Mister Frolosges...but that would be something new. I don't think my silver tongue has ever had such an effect..." Lis purred, almost seductively.

Doffle coughed, trying hard not to laugh. But he couldn't help but still smile at her. He liked her, that was for sure. She was a mystery, which made her alluring. And he did love a good challenge from a woman. He glanced over at Avani as she came up to his side.

Avani smiled and nodded at the girl. "I do hope Doffle hasn't bored you too much." She walked over and patted his arm. "I know he can try too hard to impress a pretty girl when one's around."

Lis's brow twitched slightly in annoyance. Had the princess insinuated she wasn't pretty? If she had there were many a men with now-empty pockets who would beg to differ. Perhaps she was just reading too much into things. "Oh not too terribly much", Lis smiled sweetly, "he was just regaling me with tales of his employer's annoying and bratty tendencies..." she lied adding a cloying quality to her voice.

Doffle sighed and rubbed his temples. "Ladies please. I have two arms." He smiled. "One for each of you." He pulled Avani up under his left arm and offered his right one to Lis. "Come I will treat you both to a drink and a treat at one of the best shops here in Underkillkin." He laughed once Avani started tickling his side, but did not relinquish his hold on her.

Avani now squished into his side, she tickled him playfully before smiling at the girl. "Yeah the one shop I think he has in mind has great vegetable filled pastries." She bit her bottom lip as her mouth started to water. "OH!" She gasped as she grinned in delight. "They'll have lemaraci nikpmupa butter beer!" She looked up at Doffle and then at Lis. "It is absolutely divine! And it's super healthy for you. Dancers around here go crazy for it because of all of it's nutrients and th fact you never get fat from it..." She smiled.

Lis smiled serenely at the Princess's subtle jab. She politely took Doffle's other arm. "Oh Sweet Princess, you don't have to worry about that! You see my race metabolizes things fast, it's you who should worry. I worry for you, I don't know if it's your youth or all of those Aococoe candies but you are a touch thick...But don't worry, it's a very healthy look. Your cheeks are flushed like a child of three..."

Arwen Arwen recognized the strange look in her sister's eyes. "Oh, you must be confused, Lilly. I know, it's not normally custom to call a stranger sister. It's a habit, I guess. I grew up with my parents telling me to be nice to the others around me. Obviously, that meant the other foresters around me, but then I left home to be a Bounty Hunter, so the people around me look different. I found that they're actually very interesting. They're just... different, is all."

Obviously, that meant the other foresters around me, but them I left home to be a Bounty Hunter, so the people around me look different. I found that they're actually very interesting. They're just... different, is all." Arwen finished with a shrug that said it was no big deal. However, Lilly was obviously still confused, although she now saw where Arwen was coming from. It does make sense, according to Arwen's upbringing it seems. It also seems like the right thing to do, but I grew up with my parents telling me that all of the outsiders would burn our forest down if we let them, even though the peace pact still reigns throughout the land. She mused to herself, sort of sitting down from the realization that her parents might be wrong.

Umi smiled. "Nice to meet you. It's cool getting away from the water kingdoms once in a while, especially since there's quiet a lot going on down there." In the kingdom, her parents were desperately trying to fight off an enemy tribe, so seeing peace was a relief for her.

Arwen Arwen smiled at Lilly, who still seemed a little alarmed or confused. She knew that people from the forest often feared the outside, because they had bee taught that they would attack them and their land if given the chance. Though she wouldn't admit it, Arwen had once been frightened of outsiders as well. When she first set off, she wouldn't talk to anyone, until she realized that there wasn't much to worry about.
"So, is the village nearby? All this traveling has gotten me lost. It would be nice to see the old village again."

Smiling again, Lilly replied, "Yeah, when you are too far away from the forest, you start to lose the feel of it. The village isn't that far off, but it is still quite a ways. It would be easy to travel by tree unless you prefer to travel by foot?" This was Lilly's forte. She was the only citizen of the forest that knew it better than the rangers even. We can't let the outsiders come along though, they wouldn't be allowed into the village. She thought, her pretty smile damping at the thought.

Arwen "I would love to visit the forest, if only for just a little while. My whole family lives there, and I haven't seen them in years." She smiled, remembering childhood experiences in her beloved forest. She had always yearned for adventure, but it had taken her a long time to finally leave. Now that she was closeby, she could feel its pull again.
