Cujo thinks you need a hug. I'm sorry your day sucked. Mine was good, last night I played my trumpet solo in our concert and it was great. So my self-esteem is good until thrusday. Then, I remembered today was Valentines Day and I didn't even want to get up. I hate Febuary 14th.

- Is being a cranky b***h -
The problem is, everyone wants to hate Valentine's day. They wake-up and say ugh: I hate Valentine's day. Why not just act like it's a regular day instead of being pessimistic but the way things are going aren't the ways you wish.
Actually, I'm sure that's not the case.
But think of it like this. If everyday was Valentine's day. Would you hate all the days? I wouldn't because everyday would be the same thing. I think that most people hate the things that happened on that day and the fact that it's Valentine's would be a concidence.
Besides, it's been studied and 45% of all problems can be avoided on your part due to the way you respond.

-agrees and applaudes Xeroxer- 3nodding With the respond thing... I just wish people could stop time or something for just 10 seconds, so we can think of the best way to reply to people. When I think back on previous conversations with people, I think of all these things I could have said instead, and better, I regret not having the time to think. sweatdrop But of course, if we could stop time for even ten seconds, think of all the other things people would use it for. whee Lots of nice things and the equivalent or perhaps more terrible acts than good. confused

I agree with Xeroxer. I don't hate Valentine's Day, I don't hate 2/14, but there has been some unfortunate events that coincidently occured on that day (close family friend getting sent to the ER, diagnosed with cancer. But she's still living and it's been 2 years :]) .
Everyone has bad days. >> When I was a younger, I somewhat took part in the cause for my grandpa's back problem, leading him to surgery. I felt bad, but now he's super great and healthy so I'm still optimistic. =]
