In the ideal world, I'd like to have kids by the time I'm 30, because my parents were "geriatric" parents xD And I found it really difficult when I was at school, because all my friends, their parents were about 10 years younger than mine. Some had grandparents that same age as my parents ;_; and I felt they didn't do as much stuff with me because they were older, we never had days out as a family because mum had bad knees etc.
I'd like be able to be at my prime when my kids are growing up, and not be an oldy parent when they're a teenager. I know it sounds silly, but I'm going from my own experience.
How long were you guys together before you got married?
