Is anyone running a Pathfinder RPG using a steampunk setting? Got any cool creature or item stats you'd like to share?

I'm finally getting into Pathfinder and hope to start my own steampunk campaign with friends this fall. I'd appreciate any ideas or stats people would like to share for steam or clockwork constructs, airships, NPCs or creatures. Thanks.

I run mostly Pathfinder system and as for the steampunk stuff I suggest you look into Rhune: Dawn of Twilight. Its a stormpunk/steampunk setting and they give you a rough idea of what classes could be acceptable in a low magic setting though I mostly blurr the line. Also they're some races that make me grin with excitement, though the cosmology is based of norse mythology and the same roughly goes for their gods.

If you love the Psionics system of 3.5 try the Psionics Unleashed system, they had updated the core material and with their new line they've made a great set of classes and archetype. In a game I ran a whie back that was set in Numeria a player played a Aegis whose astral suit resembled a progressive evolution of technology as he progressed in level. Starting from crude stone to what resembled strange numerian technology.

I suggest also looking into the more recent book Ultimate Combat, it has the gunslinger base class. If you're into adding a lot of magic I suggest the Summoner and Alchemist classes. Summoner is a build your own monster and the Alchemist is the Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde class and Master Chymist makes it better.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I also recently just discovered the new Zeitgeist adventure path from EN Publishing. From all accounts it looks like it's supposed to be steampunk and is a free download at the Paizo and EN World sites.

I've read through the material and it is good for your traditional urban crawl of steampunk, and the backround of it is actually really well written for a free adventure path. I havent ran it yet, but if you're looking into it do tell of what you've experienced with it.

Also the Rhune: Dawn of Twilight character primer is free to download off of their site. http://rhunedawnoftwilight.com/

Pathfinder is actually fairly steampunk-friendly, which is why I like it so much. My group just started a steampunk game set two hundred years after a major war between technology and magic kind of messed up the inner sea region.

The Ultimate Equipment guide has a whole page or two on firearms from the basic musket up to a six-shot revolver, as well as a small number of magic items for firearms. One of the old Eberon campaign settings has rules for airships and other vehicles that use bound elementals as a power source.

There's also a 3rd party class called the artificer that blends magic with guns and fits well in a steampunk setting. We have one in our group.

If you haven't found it though, this website is Paizo's official Pathfinder site, and has almost every bit of information their books have, plus a ton of 3rd party stuff that you can look up.
