Darkness... The inky black of this world is both consuming and terrifying. This world is the transitional point for damned souls and demons alike.
Craggy land formations float in the abyss as harsh winds cut into the skin of newcomers. Anyone who is not familiar or accustomed to the dark energies can feel a stinging burn to their skin. Any light made by travelers to this realm is only visible a few inches before the darkness consumes it, like a candle barely holding a flame.
Screams, moans, laughter, and growls are faintly heard in the distance, hope is abandoned here, only the dark embrace remains.

 Sonnett landed onto a rock-formation and looked into the umber. Nothing. This realm was buffer between the known world and Hell itself. Maybe it was too late for her father, maybe she should take on the mantle of...
No! She shook such thoughts from her mind and waited for the others to exit the portal, Sonnett also kept a keen ear on anything that might want to enter the portal to leave this nightmarish place.

*Kold appeared in the dark realm. He tried to look around, but could see nothing. He adjusted his shades out of habit...but laughed at the futility.*
"Sonnet? What now?" *Kold whispers quietly. Who knows what could be out there.*

Sonnett turned to Kold's voice and spoke."We need to make our way to the violin player. He said he'd help us get to the priest by playing his violin. You probably can't hear but I hear everything clearly." Sonnett listened to the air and then looked to Kold."He's far, very far."

*Kyla leaps through the portal, sheilding her face with her arm as the strange atmosphere stings it a bit. She follows after Kold and Sonnett*
Mew mew, well if you can walk and talk at the same time, I'd like some information please. Of course I'd like to be able to help Atomisk...and Calm if he is in fact involved, but I don't like leaping into situations where I know nothing, mew mew. It feels like being blind. Not to mention that I can't be much help to you unless I know at least a little of the situation. Without a reason and desire to fight, I have no idea where to direct my focus.

The girl shook her head and enveloped both Kold and Kyla into her red mist, floating to the next rock formation, she began her explanation.
“I don’t know all the details to my existence. You may or may not know this, but when an Incarnation dies they can easily be reborn through the medium of their existence. For example, I can be reborn through music.”
“However, there is an anomaly going on in the music and sound medium due to an instrument my father stole from the Devil himself: The Strings of Legion. I believe the tale of the demon, or demons, possessed the body of a man and asked an Avatar to allow them passage out of Hell. That said Avatar placed them in a herd of pigs, to which they drowned in a lake.”
“Satan lost his army, but their raw power was still his to command. So he forged the power into an instrument that can literally pull souls from the impure of heart. My father was repulsed that music would be used in such a way and took the Guitar from the Devil.”

“Since we Incarnations really do not have souls, he was immune to its demonic energies… Until.” Her voice trailed off as they landed onto the next formation. “Something snapped in my father, and now he has started taking command of Hell itself, casting the Devil off his throne. Entropy and Chaos is slowing building in Hell-Which is saying a lot- and it is now leaking here into the Realm of Shadows. It is only a matter of time until it spreads onto-” She stops for a moment. “Guys, we have company…” She turns away from them both and crouches a little, a low hum comes from here hands.

((You're cool, good buddy, I's got this!)) Something wet creeps up Kold's left leg. Against his cold energies it feels warm like blood. a burning sensation begins to starts hurt him as it creeps higher and higher.
"GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHH!!!!!!!!" A scream is heard from the very ground below them.((Sorry for the auto-hit, take it from there how you want to handle it. Tis an Ink Demon. 3nodding ))

*Kold jumps back slightly, not expecting ink demon. No one expects Ink Demons. Then he glared at it, unafraid. Calm's cooking was far more intimidating.*
"Ever wonder how fast frozen ink shatters? You sure you want to find out?"
*Kold slowly draws his katana and coats it with dry ice as he does so. Even though this is Hell, Kold can constantly replenish any melted ice. He stabs the ground and freezes bit of dirt. He stomps on it and it shatters into a million pieces. He points the blade at the demon.*
"What's it gonna be, manga food?" *he gives the demon a moment for self preservation, but prepares to strike*

A warm hand rubs against Kold's cheek."Aww...So tense...So very paranoid...I can make you calm once more." A succubus began to wrap her arms around his frame, which began to make him feel weak and frail.The Ink Demon turned his attension to Kyla and began to attack.

*Kyla draws Hien without speaking her usual mantra and steps defensively between the succubus and Kold*
Gonna have to stop you right there toots, mew mew. That's my husband that you're attempting to ensnare. I'm sure he's more than capable of handling that ink demon. Your seductive a** is mine to whoop.
*She points her blade menacingly at the being's throat*

Sonnet countered the Ink Demon. “Sonic-Boom!” She blasted the creature in the chest, making ink go everywhere, but not able to be seen due to the Realm of Shadows. “There’s another-” She was cut off when a ball and chain crashed into her back, knocking several feet into the umber.“I’m gonna make your body into a soup!!!” The Flesh Golem roared and swung his mace in the air. The stench of his rotting flesh was so strong it was inducing nausea to those with sensitive noses.The succubus spit at Kyla multiple times and jumped away from the neko. The small amount that hit the ground made the rock turn into obsidian glass.

*Kyla taps the obsidian on the floor cautiously with one of the claws on her left foot. She then glances up at her opponent and grins*
Interesting, mew mew. This ought to be a good fight, I've been meaning to work on my reflexes!
*She takes up an aggresive stance with Hien, then runs at full speed toward the succubus. She sends a bit of gold power to her feet to increase her speed and she appears as a gold blur.
(Kyla can use a tiny bit of her gold power without changing to Gold Lioness form. She can only send a small ammount of power to her feet to use "gold step". Think of it like "Flash Step" from Bleach).
Kyla runs at full tilt until she reaches the patch of obsidian. She drops down and slides across this like a baseball player, the smooth surface propelling herself forward, her left leg stretched out in front of her. She slides towards the succubus, trying to knock the creature off-balance, while slashing horizontally with Hien*

*Kold catches his breath as the succubus leaves* "Thanks Kyla....*cough*..." *He was really glad Kyla's jealousy and warrior instinct were so strong in this situation*
*Kold turns his attention back to the Ink Demon. He finishes coating his hands with dry ice and reaches for the ink demon. A dry ice hand extends from his hand and gives him extra range. It will "burn" whatever it touches with frost bite, or freeze it instantly and make it brittle. Kold opens a pouch on his belt and draws water from it.
Ever since their encounter at the Ground Temple, Kold has made it a point to bring water with him in case he's in a place where there's little to no moisture. Kold prepares another ice attack in case this dry ice grab fails*
