Hi, I'm new to this guild and I was wondering if anyone could help me out? I have a guild that's been in my possession for a couple of years. I've opened and closed it many times, each with a new style or topic of the guild. A few times I've recieved some requests but then it dies out quickly. So I had closed it for almost a year now and finally decieded to make a government type guild. I won't advertise about it on here, I know that is bad manners. Anyways, I have my idea locked in for this and did some preperation but I don't know exactly how to get the word out or make it appealing. I've read through the tips your guild provides on making a good working guild but I don't know how I would apply that to my own guild. So if anyone would be kind enough to help me out and I'll do what I can to return the favor. Thank you for reading.

Okay well then perhaps i can be of some help. First of, as we know it's a goverment type guild, although that could mean a veriety of diffrent things, and ways in which the guild can be constructed and done. And i also learned a good reasion or something more to do, keeps a guild going, along with keeping things interesting enough. Anyway, perhaps i can help ^W^" Thankyou, YUJI JR

So basically what you really should do is get about 5 good crew members behind your back. Ones that you'd know for sure that would be willing to help and would always have your back. Once you have EVERY topic that you want in your guild there, that's when you start inviting members. Members of your other guilds around the same genre would be good that way you know if they like rping that kind of stuff or just joined just because. But if you allow other people to join, and you have no clue what their roleplaying history is, i recommend making sure that they post within a week, or you'd eventually end up haveing half of your members never even posting at least once, being inactive, and thinking that sooner or later they would post, well that will never happen. And delete them before people start looking at your members lists, and thinking that your whole guild is in-active because some of your members are. Also, you always want an appealing looking guild to the consumers. I recommend having a guild banner with an image somehow revolving around your topic, that way someone doesn't think your guild is bland when they search up that topic of guilds, plus it catches someone's eyes when they are browsing. Hope all this imformation comes in handy to you one way or another, sincerely, Alex123me

And i also learned a good reasion or something more to do, keeps a guild going, along with keeping things interesting enough. Anyway, perhaps i can help ^W^" Thankyou, YUJI JR Well, the kind of government guild I've thought of is one that is almost exact to real ones we see now. At the moment, the guild has no government. Which is why memembers are needed, I have a topic for them to vote of off with just some basic government systems. Once voting is complete the one with the most votes becomes the offical system of the guild. Then members of the crew and everyone else will send in applications to what government positions they'd like and after I read them they'll see if they get it or not. Once things progressed from their, I'd pass laws, amendments, taxes and all kinds of things that would make the guild seem like it was it's own government type nation. So I'm just in need of people who have that kind of interest. Thank you

I understand what your saying to make things interesting and appealing but I think I lack that creative touch, I mean I can type out what I want others to hear in good detail but for the guild I just don't got it. Out of the many subforums I have. Only one is open because the way I have things set up. There's some voting that needs to be done before everything else can open up and ect. Thanks for the advice though.

Refraction Theory I was wondering if I could get some advise. normally i dont have trouble, but recently i have been able to find anyone willing to join the guild im reviving...Any suggestions? Firstly, try advertising it in the chatterbox form, you usually get 2 or 3 people from that. Second, INVITE people to the guild, don't just expect people just to suddenly want to join a random guild that they found, people like to feel wanted. And so by invited them to the guild, you have more of a chances of them joining because chances are, they are gonna check it out. Last, try to get connections. If there is any other guilds with the about the same plot as yours, see if you can advertise your guild on theirs, in exchange for them advertise their guild on yours. That way, people who like that type of guild you have, would actually see that your guild is accepting, and they will probably join. I hope this comes in handy to you, sincerely, alex123me

Well, it's gotta be a good idea. If fit is and it's blooming, like 50 members, then I recommend applying for a spotlight, it's how I got my guild started, and it'll help with you too.
