Who Owns the Weapon: Hirokatsuo Nishimura
Who Made It?:
Years ago a man named Neku Nishimura of Kirigakure crafted this weapon based on his fetish with swordfish. It was a simple model which conducted electricity, not as sophisticated as it is now, and he gave it to his son who was a ninja. His son, a ninja, realized the true potential of this weapon with its new cutting power after charged with electricity, and he expanded on this. He made the blade tip sharper, more like a swordfish, more like it is now. In war, the son discovered it cut through Suiton jutsu with its new physique with said electricity and without. It also assisted in helping the Nishimura family defend itself against Kirigakure-nin in the time of 'The Bloody Mist'. Years after, this ninja passed it down to his son. His son also saw potential in this weapon despite its great cutting power already. The grandson of the creator was able to manipulate his chakra over the blade to make a chakra coated tip over the blade, increasing the cutting power even more. And through further changes and things like this to the blade, it is known and has left its print in history with the Nishimura family. Later, it fell out of use for some years, and came back into reuse after the Fourth Ninja War.

Weapon Biography:
This sword has been known by many.. Many whom are now dead, and more. This weapon has been passed down the line in the Nishimura family residing in the Village Hidden In The Mist. The sword is said to have a million dollar bounty on it, as well as its current wielder of that family. It has been to every country, and killed many men. It is one of the seven legendary swords which are apart of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. It is known by many names, and many speak of it as a legend and have dubbed the sword,"The Second Coming of Hiramekarei" or "The Single Kiba" and its wielder as "Seven [7]" because the wielder of this sword is always young when they attain it (around the age of seven), and the sword is the seventh sword to join the ground of swordsmen at that time. It is, truly, a blade that lives up to its name.
Weakness: Mekajiki would be left harmed if hit against a rough, non-biological substance. Meaning that Earth Release jutsu can harm it, even if she is coated in Raiton. A B-Rank hit to the tip would cause it to break halfway. Anything weaker than a B-Rank would break the tip on three hits. And higher jutsu would break Mekajiki completely, leaving only a few inches of the blade left, not including the hilt. Out of combat is the only time when Mekajiki can be repaired, using 5 chakra points from her wielder to cause the blade to come back to it's original form. A piece of the blade must always remain to repair it.
Weapon Description: Mekajiki looks like a normal katana with the exception of the guard, the decoration of the tsuba is 4 pointed star, which is taken as 4 flat swordfish nose. The tsuka of the katana is black. Though she appears to be a normal katana, she is not. The blade itself feels far smother on her sides, made for sliding through things after they've been pierced, while the tip and both sides of the blade are sharp and also made for piercing into things. The tip is that of a swordfish's tip, sharp and made for easy piercing. It is said that simply placing your finger on the sharper ends causes instant bleeding. Because of how dangerous she is even by being scratched she is kept in bandages in the sheathe to keep the wielder safe, just in case.
Special Properties/Abilities:
[Combat & Standard Ability: Melee Range Combat] This the only one of Mekajiki's abilities that have no resemblance to others is when she is extended. "...its streamlined physique allows it to cut through things, as in human bodies or water with great ease and agility." This is what one of Hirokatsuo's father's friend said to him as Hitokatsuo began his training, and it truly lives up to its title(s). Mekajiki is highly water resistant, even able to cut through Suiton ninjutsu one rank above her wielder's rank, stopping the ninjutsu in its tracks. Her natural design is made to decimate Suiton jutsu all together. Her shape is all custom made for human bodies as well, cutting through them with ease.
- Cutting through jutsu below your rank: D-rank, Costs 3 Chakra and 2 Stamina... requires a 1 post cooldown before being used again.
-Cutting through a jutsu at your rank: C-rank, Costs 5 chakra and 3 stamina... requires a 2 post cooldown.
-Cutting through a jutsu (up to one rank above your own): A-rank cost, 10 chakra and 7 stamina... requires a 3 post cooldown.
Cooldown must be respected at all times and the user cannot use this ability again until the required posts are fulfilled. So, if you slice through something above your rank, you cannot slice through something below your rank until the 3 post cooldown is completed.
[Ability: Long Range Combat] Mekajiki is known as,"The Second Coming of Hiramekarei", for a reason as well. Her wielder is able to change her shape with chakra. Although, not in the same method as Hiramekarei was able to. Mekajiki is able to extend only (up to a maximum length of 2ft).
-This will cost 2 chakra and 1 stamina to activate and an additional 1 chakra and 1 stamina to maintain every post afterward.
[Standard Ability: Excitement] This is the last ability of Mekajiki's that has been compared to a former sword of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. Mekajiki is also able to channel Raiton through herself,allowing her to be called "The Single Kiba". Once per battle, while in mid-battle, as the fight has gotten intense, Mekajiki becomes excited and is coated in Raiton Chakra, because it absorbs the chakra itself, it only costs 7 chakra points and no stamina to use this ability. After that, Mekajiki will just vibrate and feel lighter. It will also seemingly attack by itself rapidly. This ability causes even the normal attacks from Mekajiki to be 1 rank higher on speed. Also, because of it's vibration every attack will appear in a double-vision to the opponent, causing their evasion to be lowered by one rank. -This ability lasts two posts, with a five post cooldown.
