Before scoping try to put the enemy's character/body in the exact middle of your crosshairs.

I try and try and try to QS but I just can't in Black Ops. I find it easier to use the last sniper though. You can miss them by a little and somehow still hit them.

No hints, it takes practice.
Also, practice "YY's" it works in black ops, just not as well as it did in MW2

you have to release all movement last second when entering QS or youll miss your shot
