History; Adelia was ‘raised’ in Geneva, France. Although the word ‘raised’ is a large understatement for her situation. Adelia was kidnapped at the age of 3, by a husband and wife whom were not right in the head. The couple had been kidnapping children left and right for nearly 10 years by the time they took in Adelia, unfortunately all the other children had died. They kept her locked up in a darkened room, alone most of the time. She was constantly beaten and tortured, they told her this was how you showed love for one another, being as young as she was she believed them. When she was 6 the couple brought in another child, this time a little boy the age of 9 named Aiden. They became inseparable. Two years later Aiden attempted to convince Adelia to run away with him. But Adelia was scared the only life she knew was within those four walls where she had people that ‘loved’ her. Aiden felt differently, he promised Adelia that he would be back for her before running out of the room. Adelia could hear screaming through the walls, whose screams they were she did not know. The shouting soon quieted. She never saw Aiden again and help would never arrive. The next 10 years she would spend alone, children come and went much like Aiden did. She would not grow close to them and she would not love them. She would sit alone until finally, finally someone took notice. She was 16 when the cops finally found and imprisoned the couple. Adelia was sent off to an orphanage and was soon adopted. Adelia came to love the family, and she would defiantly show them that love. One day while her new parents were sleeping she tied them both up and awaited for them to wake up. They awoke to Adelia standing at their bed side a knife in hand. They tried to scream, but their screams were muffled by tape that covered their mouths. “Don’t you love me?” Adelia asked, tears streaming down her face. “I love the both of you, oh so very much”. Adelia punched, kicked and stabbed the couple till they didn’t move anymore. “Now you do me,” Adelia said removing the tape over their mouths, “show me you love me”. When they didn’t respond Adelia panicked, “why won’t you answer me!?” She was unaware of death, its meaning she did not understand. The cops soon arrived finding Adelia snuggled up between the two bodies eyes closed and humming to herself sweat melodies. When they took her away she acted as if any other child would. She screamed and trashed as she cried out for her mother and father. At her trial she was sentenced to life without parole, and was taken away to DW. She is now 19.
