Description: Kazuma is a thin, athletically built man with pale, smooth skin. He holds virtually no emotion in his luminecent eyes, and walks with an air of authority about him. He wears the standard uniform of all shinigami within the gotei 13 from the waist down. Dressed upon his upper torso he wears a tight fitting sleeveless shirt and a cord around his right arm with white hand wraps around both hands.

Relationships: None at the moment.
Description: Calm, collect, and seemingly cold. Kazuma rarely shows any emotion at all, whether in a fight or simply speaking to one of his few friends. He rarely speaks unless spoken too, preferring to let his sword speak for him, and can sound very harsh and cold when giving his opinion. However, he is unfailingly loyal to those he calls friend or ally and will give his own life to protect them all. Though he doesn't show his emotions, those that are closest to him, though they are very few in number, know how warm and kind he truly is.

Zanpakuto
Spirit's Name: Raikouryu (Lightning Dragon)
Sealed Appearance: A pair of large twin katanas, each of which at an over all length of four and a half feet. The blade is a brilliant silver hue and is as sharp as diamond. The handle is wrapped in a beautiful mix of black and silver hued silk. Each of the guards hold the appearance of a large serpent dragon wrapping around the weapons with its wings tucked in and bolts of lightning spiraling around its frame. The butt of the swords each have hidden slots within them, allowing for the two weapons to be connected, either for standard combat, or for the zanpakuto release.
Spirit's Description: Raikouryu is a massive serpentine dragon with beautiful silver scales that cover his body from head to tail. His under belly, however, is of a mix of light tane and silverish blue hued scales, all intermingling with one another. His head holds a set of horns which curl backwards and several spines that flow down his spinal column. He has a pair of mossive wings adorning his frame. Lower still are his arms, long and thin, though highly muscled which hold long talons at the ends of his hands. Lastly, his eyes are of the most vibrant shade of sapphire, like the sky itself is held there, and set of razor sharp teeth held within a large, viper-like mouth. Though he looks frightening, Raikouryu is actually rather kind and calm, if seemingly cold, like lightning itself. He is completely calm and shows absolutely no feelings at all, though he has no tolerence for those that he deems as wicked or evil. Nor does he tolerate fools. However, the latter he is able to deal with far more easilly. He holds within him a great deal of whisdom, which he shares with Kazuma regularly during their daily sessions together.
Even though he shows no emotions, seeming as though he has none at all, he actually holds a great deal of respect for Kazuma. And with his respect comes his compassion and unyielding trust. In that, he will defend and protect Kazuma to the bitter end, without question or hesitation. It is a mutual feeling, as Kazuma respects and trusts Raikouryu above all others, having been able to speak with him from the first moment he had gained his zanpakuto.
Shikai: Achieved
Shikai Release Phrase: "Rain down from the heavens...Raikouryu!"
Shikai Description: When released, Kazuma's zanpakuto transforms into a large, nine foot blade staff. The blade itself is a long broad sword shape, with a dragon's head for the guard. The horns of which bend down towards the handle. The handle itself is a long serpent's body which flows down to the end, where its tail wrapps around a large sapphire hued crystal sphere. Just under said crystal is a large pair of dragon wings which shape into an axe, the ends of which are as razor sharp as the sword at the top.
Abilities: Raikouryu has the ability to control electricity, both in itself and in the air. It generates a large electric field around itself by pulling in the spiritual energy within the air and combining it with its own. The field is then amplified with Kazuma's reiatsu being used as a controller. With this field, anything that strikes Raikouryu or is struck by it receives a burst of electric energy right into them, causing anything made of flesh to go numb for a short time. This is achieved by the electric current numbing the nervous system slightly and scrambling the impulses sent from the brain for a short amount of time. However, with repeated strikes, this affect will grow stronger, stacking atop each other to build. If this happens, the body can begin to shut down, allowing for an extended paralysis, or even cause the affect person to cease living.
Technique #1: Shinjinbukai Suteppu (Godly Step) - By augmenting the reiatsu of his zanpakuto into his own body, Kazuma is able to enhance his natural speed, as well as his shunpo abilities greatly. This allows for a greater sense of reflex and reaction time when in combat, as well as a greater movement speed.
Technique #2: Kanshiki Heki (Judgement Burst) - Flipping his zanpakuto around, Kazuma is able to fire a burst of concentrated reiatsu from the crystal at the staff's end. This blast of energy looks and works much like lightning, in that it will burn almost any substance it strikes. However, instead of crushing with its force like normal lightning does, this type works as more of an extension of his blade, cutting into whatever it hits, the force of the impact simply allows for a deeper, more penetrating cut.
Technique #3: Kanshiki Shuuha (Judgement Wave) - By focusing his reiatsu and the reiatsu of his zanpakuto, Kazuma is able to pull in the energies around him and convert them to electric energy. Afterwards, he releases it in a nova style discharge around him to strike all within range. Though the range is only about five feet in diameter, the affect is a much stronger version of his paralysis ability.
Technique #4: Kanshisha Toku (Guardian's Shield) - By focusing his own reiatsu and the reiatsu of his zanpakuto then spinning the weapon before him, Kazuma is able to generate large shield in front of his body. This shield is able to withstand virtually any force, much like a kiddo shield. However, unlike a kiddo shield, Kazuma is only able to produce this shield in the direction his weapon is facing, and nowhere else, and he must be able to withstand the force of impact as well, like lifting a physical shield. In this, Kazuma may take some damage if the attack is stronger than him and his shield. The force itself can also push Kazuma backwards, depending on the strength of the force itself.

Bankai Name: Raikouryu Kamisama (Lightning Dragon God)
Bankai Description: When released into the bankai state, Kazuma gains a beautifully vibrant bluish silver hued armor adorning his chest, hands, head, and feet. The armor is highly durable and works as both his shield, and his weapon. Upon his upper torso is a beautiful chest piece, form fitted to his chest. The front looks as though it was the chest of a great dragon. The back holds several small spines moving down the center of the back. What also adorns the back is a pair of massive draconic wings which work as a shield as well as blades. Extending out from the bottom of the torso armor is a long dragon's tail with a long double blade extending from the tip that's used as a secondary weapon. His lower legs and feet are covered by a pair of boots which look like dragon's feet, complete with clawed toes. His head is simply adorned with a single helmet which holds a pair of dragon horns curving backwards, and scale plates which make up the top of the helm. His arms gain a pair of long gloves which extend up to his elbows, the hands of which look like dragon claws. The gloves, however, are the most vital part of this form. Upon the wrists are a pair of sapphire crystals which begin to gradually glow brighter once his bankai is released. At the end of the armored crystals are large hole-like intentions. Out of these "holes" extend long blades made entirely out of reiatsu and act as his main weapons.
Abilities: In his bankai form, the crystals held at Kazuma's wrists begin to gradually glow, becoming brighter and brighter as time goes on. These crystals are an indicator, showing just how strong Kazuma is at the time, with him being at a normal strength when the glow is weak, and at his strongest when they glow brightest. He gains complete control over the electrical energies held within the atmosphere. This allows him to manipulate the weather itself, creating powerful lightning storms which rain down upon his enemies. He can also generate the electric field from his shikai, only he can produce it around his entire body, allowing for a much greater control over his paralyzing ability, as well as a much greater increase in speed control, turning his godly step technique into a more passive ability. However, as a battle prolongs while his bankai is released, the electric field will gradually grow stronger as the crystals on his wrists glow brighter, which indicate the increase in Kazuma's overall power. Though this is slow and takes quite some time to reach the maximum level of his bankai, about an hour at the least. However, the end result is a much more devastating affect with the electric current. Add to that, Kazuma also gains the ability to slightly manipulate the reiatsu within the air, allowing him to create gravity-like fields. However, he is only able to generate the fields around himself, and using such an ability requires a kind of "cool down" where he is unable to produce said field for a certain period of time based on the power of the field that was created.
Technique #1: AmatsuKen (Heavenly Blade) - This is the base, and main form of Kazuma's attack in his bankai form. With this, Kazuma is able to create his two energy swords which extend from the wrist pieces that hold the two dragon crystals. These swords work like any other sword. However, their strength and sharpness depend on the strength of Kazuma's spiritual pressure. In this Kazuma must not let down his guard even for a second, and must maintain a razor's edge for them to be affective. Kazuma is also able to extend the blades like a whip, with the range and power of the extension increasing as his strength in bankai grows.
Technique #2: Taishita Oshi (Great Push) - By controlling the reiatsu in the air around him, Kazuma is able to condense it, focus it into a barrier that forms in any direction he wishes, including all around him. This barrier stops virtually anything thrown at it and then expands outward, repelling it away from Kazuma. As his strength in bankai increases, so does the strength of said barrier. However, that also increases the amount that it can drain from him and thus increases the time it would take to cool down, forcing him to wait longer to be able to use this technique. If he uses the greater versions, that is.
Technique #3: Tentou Aitou (Heaven's Lament) - As the energy and strength level of his bankai increase, so does the devastating effects of his abilities and techniques. This particular technique allows Kazuma to focus the built up reiatsu levels within his own body as well as pull in the energy around him and concentrate it into a condensed orb at his chest which he then curls his body around. Once the desired energy is pulled in and focused, he then lets his body spring back to normal, releasing the condensed orb of reiatsu which will strike everything within range in all directions around Kazuma. The range is around fifteen feet in diameter, and has enough concussive force to create a deep crater in the ground at its weakest, and destroy a mountain at its strongest. It will also burn through whatever the released energy collides with, due to the intense heat of the released reiatsu. Though the strength of the attack varies with the amount of reiatsu Kazuma has built up, the drawback, however, is that Kazuma uses up all of the built up reiatsu within himself, forcing him to begin building his energies all over again from the beginning, as well as leaving him slightly drained for a moment.
Technique #4: Doki no Kyuuten (Wrath of the Heavens) - This is Kazuma's greatest technique. And, as such, can only be used if Kazuma reaches his full bankai strength. With this technique, he is able to release his reiatsu into the atmosphere itself, and summon a massive lightning storm. Once this storm begins to rage, Kazuma is able to wield and direct the lightning like a spear, firing it in the exact direction he wishes. He is able to summon either one, or multiple bolts to rain down upon his enemy/enemies. However, when he uses this technique, he is unable to extend the blades at his wrists, forcing him into a more defensive style of fighting when up close.

History

Human World: Kazuma was born long ago during the Tokugawa Dynasty of Japan. There he learned the art of the sword at a very young age. Starting his training at around twelve, and completing it in only six short years. The style in which he was taught was known as "Tenrai Tsurugi" or “the art of the divine blade”, a sacred style of weapon mastery that taught perfect balance between the warrior and his body, mind, spirit, and weapon. Surprisingly enough, Kazuma was actually quite talented in this style, mastering it with each weapon granted him to train with. He was so impressive that he even gained the attention of the shogun and was recruited into his royal guard only days after graduating from his dojo, gaining the recommendation of his master, and the respect of the shogun and his guard.
As the years went on, Kazuma moved quickly through the ranks of the guard, from recruit to personal guard in no time at all. And soon even gaining the title of "Hiryuu" because of his skills. It was said that he looked like a dragon flying through the battle field, cutting down all who stood against him with such speed and grace that is was described as a death with no equal in beauty or terror. However, his happy life soon ended. Only a few short years after gaining the position of the shogun's person guard, the Meiji revolution erupted and war broke out between the rebellion and the shogunate. Unfortunately, Kazuma, though fighting bravely and forcing back many of the revolutionists, was killed in combat, betrayed by a member of his own group and left to face down far too many enemies.
Kazuma died at the age of twenty...
Early Soul Society: When he woke up within the Rukon district of the soul sociaty, Kazuma found himself in a bed. His clothes had changed, and his wounds were gone.
