I'm sure we've all see the Silent Hill movie. Anyone with even BASIC knowledge about the game series knows that they jacked the story line all up, changed male characters into female characters, changed names, and put in monsters from whatever game they flt like, even if they were not relevant. Don't get me wrong, as a MOVIE I liked it...but it's just like the Resident Evil movies to me...to compare them to the video games would only make the movie itself unbearable. Which brings me to the topic at hand...what are they going to do for the next movie? I know it's supposed to be mainly about Heather...but the changes they made in the story from the fist movie seems to me like it will back them into corners. One example is the Aglaophotis. In SH1 Harry gives it to Cybil to save her when shes possessed. In SH3 Harry gives Heather a locket containing a small amount of Aglaophotis, which Heather later uses to separate herself from "God". SO, see it as how they simply burned Cybil to death in the first movie...I'm wondering how (and IF) they are going to pull that off? That's only one of my concerns, really. So, what do you think? Do you think they're just going to do whatever the heck they feel like again? Will Hollywood EVER do a videogame proper justice? I know it would be quite a task to get EVERY little piece of information into a film...but they changed SO SO SO much with SH, I'm just worried about the next movie.

I highly doubt that it will do the games any justice, but it looks more promising so far then the first movie. Either way it goes, I guess as a movie it will be alright, but as a comparison to the game, it will suck. I feel no better about anything being released by Konami shipping Silent Hill out to other companies. To be honest, it just feels the same way.

The only thing I loved about the first movie was at how hot Cybil was, but I did get bored with the movie after the second run.
I'll probably watch the second movie in theatres just to see it on the big screen. I'm not even going to bother with the details of the development of the movie and just rage about everything when the credits roll haha.

:> Yes, Cybil was VERY hot. XP And I agree, I'll be seeing it on the big screen...mainly for the 3D.

Well, I'll watch this silly movie, but I'm certainly not paying for their games anymore, Metal Gear Solid is the last series I'll invest in from them. Capcom is also pissing me off, so the last games I'll get from them are Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom, and Dead Rising 2: OTR I'm not going to lie, I knew barely anything about Silent Hill and just started playing the first game when I saw that movie, even then it was an eyesore. xD At least the new director seems less interested in 'sexual excitement.'

Like what I'm doing, ignore them any honor, certainly not getting any game that gives them any financial support ya know? If I ever do get around to Homecoming, Shattered Memories, and Downpour aside from Video Gameplay walkthroughs, they just won't be getting money from me. Buying it used if I do, and only for the lulz and achievements. BU Corporate Greed is frustrating! D<
