The gates to the Hidden Cloud Village are set high upon the mountaintops where the altitude makes it difficult to breathe if one is not used to it. The whole area is filled with dense clouds that drift across, making it difficult to see when approaching the gates. Like a mirage, the gates appear as one gets closer.
