If he's in his gigai, he has on a sleeveless jacket with a hood and a plain pink shirt underneath that. A pair of ripped jeans with a chained wallet and black sneakers finishes off his look.

Description- His eye's portray someone that is usually cold, hard, and strict, but in reality he is rather laid back and somewhat caring to the people he actually likes. He doesn't mind talking to other people, but he doesn't ever actually introduce himself. A majority of the time when he is walking around, he is usually drunk or reading... Sometimes he attempts both. When caught in the right mood though, usually after he had a little to drink, he can be considered a typical squad eleven member. He won't always want to fight and prove that he is the best around, if he does it's usually a fun sparring match. Unlike most of the squad eleven members, he doesn't train in just brute strength. He likes to make sure that speed and agility play their role in a fight, so he keeps them finely tuned.

Shikai Release Phrase-Obtained Flare, Kanpe
Shikai Description- A red and gold straight edge, full length, katana with a serrated edge. A gold cross guard separates the blade from the black and red handle. The pommel is just black, but with a red, small, crescent like hook that has no meaning other than to make the blade look better.
Abilities-
Ākufureimingu (Flaming Arc)- Reitsu enhanced fire engulfs the entire length of the blade, allowing it to be 'swung' off the sword. It flies at the opponent in an arc. The flames can be kept on the blade for a short amount of time to deal extra physical damage.
Kasai jetto (Fire Jet)- Above the tip of the blade, a small ball of fire begins to form. As the ball gets bigger, the initial attack becomes stronger, but the charge takes time. When the ball is at the desired size, it seems to get sucked into the sword, then shoots out from the base of the blade, near the cross guard.
Bankai Release Phase- "Sekai o moyasu"(世界を燃やす: Burn the World)
Bankai Description- The blade completely vanishes, leaving Kano 'weaponless'. His hands and feet are engulfed in, dark red, flames and he has hornlike flames protruding out from his forehead. Fiery wings protrude from his back, giving him the ability to fly. His skin becomes hardened by the massive amounts of reitsu that his Bankai unlocks. The overall Bankai gives him the look of a fiery demon.
Abilities-
Inferunoringu (Inferno Ring)- He punches the ground and a shock wave gets sent out twenty yards in diameter from where he hit. When the wave reaches its final distance, fire shoots up in a ring. The flames stay up for a little while, attempting to single off two people from a massive confrontation.
Bureijingu no kobushi (Blazing Fist)- One of his arms is entirely engulfed in flames. When the fist makes contact with anything, it explodes, then a jet of fire, ten yards, shoots out quickly after.
Taiyō no ken (Sword of the Sun)- He clasps his hands together, diminishing the flames from his hands and feet, and creates a two-handed sword of pure fire. This move is usually a last ditch effort.
Kasai no suteppu (Fire Step)-
A variation of shunpo. It leaves flames where he once stood and is nearly twice the speed of shunpo. It can only be used in his Bankai state.
Kasai u~isupu (Fire Wisp)-
He can make small wisps of flame shoot out from either his nose or mouth.

Human World-
When Kano was still alive, he lived with a mediocre family. A mother, father, and a little brother who he liked to spend time walking around with. They didn't live in a bad area, but they didn't live in the best of areas either. Theft was common, murder was rare though and property destruction almost never occurred. They lived in Japan and Kano enjoyed seeing the rose blossoms, as did his little brother. The only problem with getting the best sight was that they had to go through a rather problematic area. Unlike where they lived, the area they needed to go through was known for the high amount murders that took place. Kano was always armed with a katana when he went through there, but he didn't want to bring his little brother through there without him knowing how to fend for himself in case they got separated. For his little brother's thirteenth birthday, and after constant begging, Kano decided to take him to see the cherry blossoms, warning his little brother to stay close. They got through the problematic area with much of a problem. Nobody tried to kill them, but several attempted pickpocketing them. When they made it to the where the best sight was, Kano's heart sunk. The area had been burned to ash. He could only make out one cherry blossom in the ashes, and after telling his brother to stay put, he set out to get it. When he went back to go give the blossom to his brother, three men with make shift shivs had surrounded him. One man held the shiv to the boy's neck, while the other two waited patiently for Kano. They threatened to kill his brother if he didn't disarm himself, so he did so. He threw the katana to one of the men feet, knowing the man would pick it up. Kano charged at the man holding the shiv to his brothers neck and managed to kick him off of the boy before he felt something enter his body. All he could hear was his brothers screaming, then he felt the item get yanked out of his body. He watched as his brother began sobbing uncontrollably and crawl towards Kano. He handed his little brother the single cherry blossom before his world went black.
Early Soul Society-
For the first few years Kano was in the rukongai, he did almost nothing but wander aimlessly, hoping not to find his little brother there. He had become a drone as he wandered, not paying any attention to anything around him. Kano ate we he needed to and slept when he needed to. What snapped him out of his trance was a Shinigami that came into the rukongai one day. The massive amounts of reitsu he put out nearly dropped Kano to his knees, he had to brace himself against a nearby wall. After seeing the amount of respect, awe, and fear that everybody gave the shinigami, he knew that he wanted to be treated like that. Kano then made it is goal to become one of the very best Shinigami around.
In the 13 Court Guard Squads
Years of blood, sweat, and pure hope had brought him to where he was now. He constantly trained with anybody that would go against him. Soon enough though, his love for fighting and training with his physical body had gotten him into the Eleventh squad. It wasn't the squad of his choice, but he knew that the eleventh squad had a reputation for being one of the strongest Thirteen Court Guard Squads.
