So now we have the ability to craft items, for a price of course, but no guarantee. I've seen something like this on TinierMe, and I have to say Gaia's looks much better. (If you're not on TM, trust me you're not missing much. They're roughly 100 times more IRL money grubbing than Gaia.)
I don't think I'll be messing with it anytime soon though, mostly because I don't have the gold after Pie Hard part 1, and part 2 will very likely be another gold sink. That, and it's best to give new things a chance to work out the bugs.
What do you guys think?

I'm dubious at the moment. Some of the ingredients for these alchemy recipes are already pretty expensive. And I have yet to see how you get certain ingredients that aren't available in the store. I'm going to wait on this one to find out.

Carbo: All of the ingredients are available in the Daily Chance. (All the alchemy components, anyway). Some of the components, you have to craft to get them. Otherwise, they're in the Daily Chance.

Otherwise, they're in the Daily Chance. Still though, looks really pricey for some of the recipes. Look at Formula 7: Flowing Chestnut Princess Locks - You need 2 each of Flowing Ginger Princess Locks and Flowing Flaxen Princess Locks each of which cost 1mil+ so that's at least 4mil that you're spending and after that there is only a medium chance of success. And look what it takes to make Nomi the Snail (current market price 40-60K). You need a Cirque du Junkfood and a Sherbet - both premium ci's which cost at least twice as much as what Nomi the snail costs - why would you even make that?

Even if there's a medium chance of success, you don't lose your ingredients if you fail. You only lose the gold deposit. So you can keep trying until you get it right, or you run out of gold. As for those, I'd think those are only there to help bring up your level. I mean, after all, they've hinted at back wings, and even showed 'preview' pictures on the announcement. That same announcement said that they'd be extremely high level, and expensive. People are still going to do this, if only for the back wings.

I'd personally feel bad about destroying two expensive items to get one cheap item, so I'd stay away from that recipe and others like it - stick to those imp potions and unique alchemy items. I don't know what they were thinking with nomi there.

D; None of the items are really catching my attention, except maybe the Calico Kimonos. And the demon/angelic wings that I assume will come out soon. And I'm wondering--is this part of the new zOMG expansion, the Deadman's Shadow or whatnot? Because some of the ingredients I've never seen before and I'm assuming that they'll be the new zOMG ingredients.
Bah, money grubbers. They're all so costly. Or WILL be, at the very least. Which sucks since I really want those wings. ;-;

All the things you've never seen before will be a daily chance item. Which also means you have a chance at getting it from dumpster dive, since the dumpster now feeds from the daily chance (when it isn't full). I certainly /wish/ they used things from zOMG. It would make things so much easier.

It really would be. D: Uff. I've resigned myself to purchasing the alchemy items eventually in the marketplace, given that they aren't outrageously priced. Which won't be likely. crying
