I am incredibly amazed by the number of remakes there are! I suppose giving a modern twist (which is what I assume they are doing via the trailer) to an older successful movie might be beneficial. I must say, though, I wasn't a fan of the original.

This could be good for anyone who wasn't a fan of the original. And it has the potential to get younger generations interested in the original, so I can't really complain. Myself being a fan of the original, though, I have to admit I wasn't too excited when I heard there was going to be a remake. After seeing the trailer, though, I feel more willing to give it a chance.
