Kekkei Genkai: Kekkei Genkai are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans. Kekkei genkai and their related jutsu cannot be taught or copied by others, but it is possible to confer the ability to another person if it's localized in a particular organ like the eyes via transplant, like Obito passing his Sharingan eye to Kakashi. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are called dōjutsu. Kekkei genkai literally translates to "Bloodline Limit" or "a technique limited to inheritance by blood".
Dōjutsu: This is a subcategory of kekkei genkai. This ability stems from the unique qualities of the users' genetics. Dōjutsu techniques involve abilities inherited through the eye that do not involve hand seals. Dōjutsu techniques have several abilities which include the ability to read genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu, and then defeat his or her opponent. Some grant the user access to special techniques, and others allow for the use of techniques that would otherwise be impossible due to physical restraints.
Elemental Manipulations: Besides the five basic nature types, there are several more advanced types. Generally known by using two basic types simultaneously, one can create a completely new nature with unique properties. Though this is not something every shinobi can do. Only those people who have a certain kekkei genkai have this ability.
Chakra Manipulations: Members of different clans all have their unique way of the shinobi. Whether how their family orients themselves with other people, how they fight in battle, or who they are allowed to marry, the members of the clans are able to manipulate their chakra in a way that normal shinobi cannot. These techniques could be by using their shadow as a weapon or growing body parts to tremendous sizes, or by using insects to help you in battle. However, these are secret techniques that are not to be confused with kekkei genkai, a technique that require a specific genetic ability, as technically, secret techniques can be taught to anyone. Although some of these secret techniques require a special ability or lineage.
