Ability Concetration/Theme: Illusion - With the ring of a bell Mist can trap someone in an illusion. The setting of the illusion is taken straight from the mind of the one caught within. While subconsciously they know it’s not real it appears to be reality to the conscious part of the mind. The ringing continues within the illusion seeming apart of it.

Downside: The illusion can be broken by stopping the bell. If the one trapped can accept that what they are seeing is an illusion they weaken the illusions hold on them.

Personality:

Mist is loyal to her friends, she would die for them, has in fact been hurt trying to protect a friend in the past. While cruel to her enemies she is careful to never step over the line. She does not take betrayal lightly. Being the cunning creature that she is, revenge is shift and brutal, at times even bordering on deadly.

Mist can be very playful and loves playing harmless pranks on her friends. One of her favorite pranks is to replace shampoo with temporary hair dye. And not always so harmless ones to people she doesn’t like. An exploding slime-ball is a favorite "present" to send.

She can be extremely sarcastic when annoyed. Her remarks are meant to be cutting but at times they come across as funny much to her displeasure. She will bluntly tell someone they are being an idiot, usually in hopes that they will leave her in peace from their stupidly.

Likes: Playing pranks, puzzles, animals, sweets

Dislikes: Being betrayed, people being stupid

Fears: Being alone

Hobbies:

Doing puzzles - Rather its cross-words, sudoku, or a puzzle box Mist loves them all. She has a large collation of puzzle boxes and mind teasers.

Biography:

Mystique was born in Clarus Arbor to a family well known to produce powerful witches. One day when she was a still a young child of eight a witch-eater came through town. Mist was off playing by herself when the witch-eater came across her. Sensing the dormant power in the young girl the witch-eater decided Mist would make a nice meal and nabbed her and was gone before anyone realized what had happened.

At first Mist wasn’t sure what was going on having come to slung over a shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Once she realized the person carrying her was a stranger she began to feel afraid.

Unbeknownst to them both a reaper happened to have passed through the town and learned of the kidnapping. Having heard that a witch-eater was in the area the reaper decided to investigate. It wasn’t long before the reaper picked up the witch-eaters trail.

When the reaper finally caught up with them what she found surprised her. The witch-eater was chasing around a kitsune kit, unable to get ahold on the nimble creature. The shock and stress of the situation had caused Mystique's dormant mononoke powers to awaken.

The reaper quickly dispatched the distracted witch-eater and saw the kit safely home to her over joyed parents. They couldn’t have been happier that their daughter was now a mononke and believed the kidnapping was a blessing in disguise.

Wanting to get as far away from her insane, in her mind, parents Mist enrolled in Makai Royal Academy as soon as she was able to.

I'll give a few notes about some of the world stuff to help ya.

~ You mentioned she was born to a family that is well-known for producing Mononoke, but this wouldn't exist. xD Mononoke are very random and unusual to find, it would be like coming from a family well known to give birth to siamese twins. :3

~ It wouldn't make sense for a Witch Eater to be held off by something as small and simple as a kitsune kit. Instead, it would make more sense for him/her to be struggling to capture it or keep it still. Witch Eaters are quite strong, especially faced with something younger than a witchling. xD

Other than that, you might want to write about her indepth thoughts and feelings, her goals and aspirations, fears, weaknesses, etc.
