Its sad. But then again, I say its good. We don't need a quitter for our president.
I mean seriously!! HE GOT THIRD PLACE IN THE STRAW POLL. AND THEN HE QUITS. WOW.
If I was running for president and I got 3rd in the straw poll, i'd figure out where im lacking and continue.

He was running out of campaign funds and wasn't gaining any momentum. Also, his heated exchange with Bachmann during the time that she was in the top tier was destructive to his campaign.
