I'm going on holiday to Devon for a week, with Chris :3 I've got to drive it though, as he doesn't trust his car surviving. It's a 5 hour drive emo The longest I've driven in one go is 1 hour! Has anyone here done a long distance drive? Any advice on how to cope with it? (other than having breaks). I have bad knees and I'm worried how it's going to effect them with all that driving, plus, it's going to be country roads that I don't know sweatdrop

i love long distance driving. i'm quite good at it too sweatdrop the longest i've driven for is about 24 hours. i've done that twice. the most recent, it was a total of a 30 hour drive, straight-through, and bryan drove for about six of them, but he falls asleep in cars really fast. i have bad knees too (Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome). i just made sure i was always comfy, always shifted about to keep 'active' and breaks whenever needed. and lots of good dance music lol.

Blimey! o.o;
I can't remember what condition I got told I have, but apparently it's common in young females emo
I was thinking of driving for 2 hours and then stopping off for lunch for a bit, and finishing the rest of the journey.

I drove from Seattle to LA overnight. It was for a concert lol. The second time we drove from Seattle to Omaha. My husband's brother was being deployed to iraq, so everyone converged on Omaha to say goodbye.
the patella thing, my knee caps are crooked. so it causes a lot of joint pain in my hips, knees and ankles. but i don't have insurance, so it's just a lot of ibuprofen for me!

That's crazy lol.
My knees feel like they haven't got any padding, and are just grinding D; My clutch leg, that knee hurts more after driving from more use. I got told I have the condition which is swollen tendons/ligaments though. But I dunno. I got told all I could do was to take Ibuprofen but it doesn't do anything D; I might see if I can get some extra strength ones xP
