Background History: Kyuske was born to Zazi Ichimura a Medical Doctor and Kozue Yasutora, a Jonin Kunoichi. At the age of 1 his parents left on a mission, leaving him with his father's brother, a local farmer. While on the mission his parents went M.I.A, leaving him an orphan, seeing as how his uncle didn't have the funds to take care of him. After entering the orphanage he was adopted 3 years later by a martial artist named Kitano. He began training at an early age to harden his mind and body. He did that for 5 years when he was admitted into the ninja academy.
After graduating at the age of 10 he became a genin and obtained his headband. He was extremely proud and celebrated with his master by learning new moves. He trained for 5 years, at which point he became a chunin. On his first mission he and his two other squad mates Yu Amanai, a Weapons ninja and Sayuri Tenzan a Ninjutsu Kunoichi went to retrieve a package for a local jonin. On the mission they were ambushed by rogues. Kyuske was gravely injured, Sayuri was kidnapped and Yu was killed. Kyuske was later found by some travellers and returned to his village. He received medical attention and was returned to his master. That was the last time he saw his squad and also the last time he saw kirigakure for a while. He was taken travelling by his master for some training.

After 8 years he returned, without his master. He had to fight his master in a show of strength. He won, showing he was superior and therefore his master had nothing to teach him. Now back in his village and going on many missions in a show of strength and leadership he was promoted to jonin.
