I often see on eharmony (shut up) a lot of gamers that are fat. Rotund. Gross. You can literally see the smell lines emanating from their bodies in the pictures.
Not really. But a lot of them are overweight. Which brings us to this...
World of Workout: How to be that bad-a** with the broadsword
First, it's a common misconception that all gamers are obese. Some of them are super scrawny. Either way, both ends of the spectrum suffer from the same problem: sitting down to much. Recently (a couple weeks ago?) some twenty year old died of heart failure. How do we prevent this and make you look like a beast?
Easy - just follow this plan that's built around the game we love
RAIDING - for every hour of raiding you do, you run a mile sometime between now and next Tuesday. That means that if you're h-core and start raiding at reset, you have a week to run that off. Let's say you grind out - one hour for BH and TotFW. Run a mile tomorrow. 2 hours for BWD or BoT? One mile tomorrow, and another mile the next day. You keep going until you run one mile a day until Tuesday. If you raid more than 7 hours a week, you start doing two miles. Of course - this isn't meant to kill you. If you can't run, then power walk.
HEROICS- after every dungeon you do, 20 push ups. It's plain and simple.
BGs - buy some dumb bells. Nothing big, 10 lbs. For every bg, do 5 reps of 5, alternating arms. Do another 3 reps if you lose.
ARENA - for every fight you take part in - 5 crunches/sit ups
Now that we got those out of the way, let's look at the rest of the world:
Dying - no matter how, no matter where. If you die, you do 10 pushups before hitting release. If your whole group wiped? 20 pushups. Flying - Forget your mount - take the flight master (that's what they're there for). While you're in flight, do some yoga. Simple stretching to help loosen your body up and make you more limber Professions - 5 jumping jacks for every skill up/crafted epic you make Questing - for every quest (dailies included) you turn in, drink a glass of water (what? I'll explain later)
That's pretty much it - the key of this is to move. I don't care what you eat or how much you weigh. I do care that you're getting the blood pumping and staying healthy.
Water is clutch - it refills your mana, and helps you keep you hydrated for those long gaming hours. Moreover, it keeps things moving squeaky in your body. There's a reason we're mostly water and it's because it's awesome. To that extent, it also helps fill you up. A lot of the times that you think you're hungry, you're actually thirsty, so if you grab a glass, you'll shrink your a** (trademarked (not really)).
BENEFITS: - Instead of sitting on your butt, you're doing something. Which is more than nothing. Regardless how much you do, you will start losing weight. - When you're in shape, you have more confidence and energy. This will make you more 'alpha' so that you can push your DPS just that much higher; With more energy, comes faster attacks, comes bigger crits, and larger numbers. - When you type /flex, you can do so along with your character - When you go to BlizzCon, you can cosplay accurately. Ladies, you can strap on that Life-binding bikini without muffin-top fears. Fellas, you can wear those Judgement pauldrons with worry of being judged yourself. - When that special someone looks at you and says 'WoW', they'll be talking about your bod, not the game.
So let's do. Lok'Tar Ogar! For the Alliance! For Pony! Or whatever you may use to rally yourself. It's time to get out there and rock the world's face.
ARCANITE REAPER, HHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
***Disclaimer: No one should start from 0 and do all this. Work yourself up to. Think of this work out plan as lvl 85. Start out with lower numbers and build yourself up until you can do this***

Or, you could go for carrot sticks instead of doritos, iced water instead of mountain dew, and some lean chicken instead of pepperoni pizza for dinner, cut back on calories, and try to go running once a week, instead of pushing yourself to much.
You just have to be healthy to be attractive. You don't have to be mario lopez xD

But, everyone is capable of getting up and moving, so I figured, to balance your (plural) crappy diet, exercise like a boss.

That's a lot of work...like....I've done half marathons before, and I cant even do 20 pushups. So....in a night where you are boss attempting, say you wipe 3 times....thats 60 pushups in like 30 minutes...I don't know anybody who raids every day, who does it for less than 3 hours, sometimes even like 4. So that means, 2+ miles a day?
