Rajih had been fairly safe the months he had been in the academy. Between the meetings of people including the most influential being Salem, Theo, Phil and Riba, Rajih had what most would consider a fairly normal Majin student life. Besides the whole hunger episode with Riba, Rajih had been more careful. Thanks to Phil and Salem, he was slowly gaining the confidence in himself to be a strong person. Thanks to Theo, He had someone to constantly be entertained by. There was also Kia and Ophelia, two of the prettiest witches around that he had some what become friends with. Though he tended not to think Emelia fondly, The witch eater he had met had disappeared like she had came for him, still leaving him baffled and confused.

It was days like these though that brought his mind to his Friend Phil as well. He hadn't seen him in awhile, even if he had occasionally visited the pharmacy for anything but its purpose. The last time he had seen his friend was right before the Grave of Fairy trial. He had heard that Phil had passed and was both happy and glad for his friend. To become a witch was what they were all aiming for after all, it would be sad not to see Phil around the campus like a student anymore. But it wasn't like he was going to far away right?

Rajih continued to think like that has he headed to the said Pharmacy where Phil worked, walking through the sliding doors and peering around for his friend. When he noticed the bob of a blonde head in the stacks of medicine, he headed over before calling out to Phil.

"You know that you don't have a cold Phil, Home come your hanging out in the cold section? Unless you actually do, then you should be resting."
Rajih joked as he came to stand by his friend, looking over him. Though there was no difference in the age, Phil expressed a mature like aura. He also donned a very nice witch costume with whites and blues. It looked nice on the boy and Rajih ruffled his hair, glad that he for once didn't have to feel the magic of another instantly seep in him. Thanks to Salem after all, He had learned to better control himself. "Looking good Friend! How do you feel about being a full fledged Witch now?"

Phil had graduated. It had been a long run, he had delayed his graduation as much as he could, he had dragged on endlessly, got in fights about it, made friends along the run, but eventually he graduated all the same. It had been a crazy ride if he could stop for a moment and look back but Phil had somehow found himself with even less time now that he was a witch so he really didn't get the time to. It wasn't as tiring as it sounded, though, it was alright. Time or no time Phil worked restlessly, tirelessly, day after day because, before anything else, he loved what he was doing. Phil's entire existence depended on helping people; he had been that way ever since the day he was born even if, until a certain age, he had also been taken care of by his brother. So many things changed and yet... in reality nothing ever did.

And he had even less free time to think about it now. He had to rush; study, research, keep tabs on his brother and friends, run the Pharmacy, make sure the house was all neat and tidy, look for a place to convert to a greenhouse... and whyever where there so many different brands of plain old cold medicine while all you had to do was brew a simple alchemic potion that even a five year old could figure out and that worked better than all of them together?

Phil was contemplating all that while trying to sort out the newest arrival of medical supplies directly from Moonfall's central stores. Makai was a small town, they didn't attract as much attention in general, but the Pharmacy where Phil worked had become rather famous for the homebrewed recipes they kept coming up with. He heard the door open and close but rested assure that his employer would deal with their customer even if he couldn't; therefore, he meticulously worked on placing price tags and arranging all the bottles in their regular order. He didn't notice that the person that had just come in had walked all the way up to him nor would he ever imagine that he'd get visitors at such an hour, yet he smiled, almost brighter than the sun outside, when he heard the voice of his friend joke gently about him having a cold. He laughed at having his hair ruffled and leaned backwards to look at the boy, bright eyes smiling more than he could express just with his lips and voice.

"Even if I had a cold I'd stand watch here so other people with a cold won't have to worry." he joked back, turning around to face Rajih while fighting the urges to downright glomp him on the spot in a childish impulse. It was very strange; he hadn't quite realized how much he had missed his friend until he saw him standing there and realizing that the last time they actually met he still hadn't passed his trial suddenly made him feel an entire lifetime apart. "What can I say?" he chuckled awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck with one hand like he always had. "At least I don't have to hide in order to the P.E. courses anymore." he took a few moments to endearingly watch over his friend before landing into reality with the relative grace of a cat. "I do hope you're well in your health and not here to get any medication." he spoke with a hint of worry, reminiscing how, when he first had met him in the library in Lumena, he had joked about jinxing his health by saying he'd like to see him come by the Pharmacy.

"Of course you would." Rajih could imagine his friend standing in the pharmacy bundled in scarves and jackets, cute little red button nose sniffling as he tried his best to help other students or witches with their colds. It was such an adorable image that Rajih really just wanted to hug his friend. But refrained from doing so, mostly because he wasn't an overly affectionate sort.

"Skipping P.E.? That's almost one of my more favorite classes. The teachers come up with a lot of fun games." Like dodge the flying gravity ball, one touch means pinned to the ground for seconds. It was fun but Rajih didn't really have a talent for dodging the balls anyways, He preferred head on approach with the most damage to his body after all. His team's usually pulled through with this and Rajih only ended up with a few knicks and scrapes.

"Actually Phil..." Rajih gave him the most pitiful look he could before clenching his stomach. "I've got this stomach ache, fever, cold sweats....I think I'm coming down with something..." Rajih dramatically act out his sickness that ended up with him flailing his arms before flopping on Phil and giving a mock cough, "I think my friend...It is serious." Rajih's brooding green eyes pleaded with his friend before sliding to the ground, "The darkness, It's starting to overwhelm me..." He gasped dramatically reaching a hand out before dying on the ground.

Or so it would seem if it wasn't for his childish chuckle on the floor and the twitching of his body.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:59 am

If Phil had any way of knowing what Rajih was imagining he'd probably had turned and rotated through varying shades of red, not due some kind of cold or fever but more due to sheer embarrassment. It was also a fact that he easily caught colds during the winter but even then he often managed to look rather composed even through them, rarely ever whining about it, except in the off chance the cold hit him harder than usual. "I mean, if I don't do it then who will? And you can't possibly shut down a Pharmacy in the middle of winter for something as trivial as a cold..." he shrugged lightly and took a quick glance around, making sure the boxes and bottles of medicine where all neatly arranged where they should be. Pushing close one of the numerous drawers used as containers for all the medicine, he turned around to finally fully attend to Rajih once again.

Phil shuddered at the thought of P.E. while Theo had always been able to ace those classes, Phil was always struggling, perpetually so, when it came to them. It wasn't as if he wasn't fit enough and while he possessed little actual physical strength he could turn into a rather fast runner when he wanted to. Phil problem, when it all came down to it, was his complete and entire lack of grace. Victim of his usual clumsiness, he'd more often fall to the ground than manage to keep on his feet, especially with the numerous spontaneous distractions, such as people yelling at him to move while he was only trying to keep true to the rules of whatever exercise they had been given. "I... uhh... really... never aced the class." Phil laughed awkwardly, hand moving to fix his glasses a little. "And, uhm... well... I'm glad you're at least having fun with it~" he nodded his head, smiling whimsically. Everyone had their own field of expertise, after all. His was taking care of people, not chasing or beating things up.

When Rajih pretended to be sick Phil was almost fooled there for a second -just a second, because worry, especially for the people close to him, ruled over all other feelings and crossed out even his logic and level headed thinking. He went as far as raising a hand, about ready to slap it on Rajih's forehead and take his temperature, mind ready to give out possible reasons for the symptoms together with the appropriate solution; however as soon Rajih went to the more dramatic part, arms flailing and coughing as he fell he felt obliged to simply give up, smile faintly and play along. "H-Hey Rajih..." his voice wavered a tone closer into despair, "Don't do this..." pale eyebrows creating worried archs over bright eyes, "You can't die on me..." brow appropriately furrowed as he held him, eyes locked before his friend slid to the floor to die out, twitching helplessly... And yet, instead of kneeling over him to check his pulse like a doctor would do, though, a playful smirk curved the edge of his lip and he crossed his arms over his chest in a rather obvious, fake coy motion. "Hmm... well... What to do...? I guess since my shift's almost over and my best friend just died I'll go have ice-cream by myself, then~"

Rajih waved his hand at Phil before sighing. His friend was always caretaker and never the taken care of, Though Rajih was sure himself and Theo felt that way. Seeing as said two were the ones spoiled by Phil as far as being taken care of. "No but you can always find someone else who will want to earn a little money and keep it open..." Rajih cocked his head at his friend before shrugging, "I'll worry about that though when we get closer to Winter. I'll see if I can help out though." Rajih nodded his head, thinking more to himself about the future. Phil was his best friend after all, and he didn't want said best friend falling Ill during the worst season to actually fall ill. Oh well, come what may, Rajih would do his best to help his friend.

"Ah, Is it because you bump into everything?"
Rajih tweaked his ear as he thought of Phil and his clumsy self. Understanding that skipping P.E. was probably the best for the witch after, didn't want him killing himself sprinting a mile or something. It's as if Rajih could see clearly his friend, running, getting distracted, falling in slow motion to tumble on the ground. He tried to suppress the snorts of laughter before regaining his composure. "Yeah it is pretty fun, I like more when we play with the magic aspect and team games then all the solo stuff." Like Weight lifting.

After the dramatic fall to the ground, Rajih laid with his eyes closed, body slightly twitching as he heard Phil play along. This is why Rajih liked Phil so much, After their talk and Phil's graduation, Rajih had come to accept a true friendship between a human and Majin. In truth he didn't even feel a Majin around Phil. After learning to control his powers, Rajih had started to see a more positive aspect of life.

"Ice....Ice cream?"
Rajih shifted on the ground, whispering the words before his eyes popped open. "Alright Doc, I'm feeling all better! Let's go get some ice cream!" Rajih pushed himself off from the ground and grinned like a child. Another reason to like Phil.....He always had the greatest ideas to do stuff. "Wait what time do you get off again?" Rajih tapped his chin, barely noticing that his fake dead act had dissipated in seconds at the thought of Ice cream. He was so easily swayed from death!

Phil smiled; it was a soft, warm smile that possibly concealed a lot more calm and loving affection than he would dare show. There were few privileged people that he obliged as receivers of his overpowering predisposition to care for and protect, his twin brother and Rajih being his utmost, foremost concerns at all times. Sometimes he was secretly afraid that all this unconditionally given care would suffocate them and they'd just run away. Thankfully both of them appeared to have a different way of dealing with it. Theo pretended to dismiss it and Rajih simply basked in it. To Phil, both were perfect in their own ways in any case. "That's true... but then I'd get worried about if they were doing their job as well and still end up here to check on them." he admitted and shrugged helplessly. When it came to things such as that Phil just couldn't keep himself from being himself, doing the things he knew best how to do. "I'd love it if you had free time to help, though. Hours at work would definitely go a lot faster if they were spent with you and all..." he smiled whimsically thinking about it.

He wasn't taken aback by Rajih blunt comment on his clumsiness, after all it was common knowledge that he was a walking hazard; being rather infamous about that fact on top. "Mostly that, yes." Phil chuckled, submitting willfully to his fate. "So you like teamwork, hm~? That's a good thing whether you'll be playing defense or offense eventually." he underlined. "To be able to depend on others and have people depend on you, it feels nice, doesn't it?" like their own relationship, teamwork was based on mutual trust between the members. Valuable life lessons could be taught from the simplest of games... the simplest of things, even the most mundane of them.

Who would have thought, after all, that a human and a Majin could share a bond like the one Phil shared with Rajih? While Phil had always believed that the two species were meant to co-exist rather than fight little people would believe such a thing could come true; but there he was, there they were, living proof that something like this was not only achievable but even more. His twin brother too was Majin, even if Phil himself had somehow ben born human. And it was kind of funny, should one think of it. He was a human surrounded by Majin and nothing bad had come of it, no harm, no pain, except one slip-up that was avoided at the last moment.

"It would seem like the mention of such a treat works like a panacea on you, my friend." Phil laughed patting Rajih lightly on the shoulder as he directed his gaze to the clock when asked about the time he was getting off. He tried not to laugh at the time right away and thoughtfully fixed his glasses as he walked towards the entrance as if he simply wanted to check on something. "Hmm..." he trailed off. "Like... half an hour ago..." he admitted, turning around to grin apologetically. He always had this tendency to stay at the Pharmacy late even when his work was over. He couldn't really help it... and it wasn't as if someone was waiting for him back home anyway.

"You are such a worry wort Phil." He patted his friend on the head and sighed again. His friend was truly a rare find in the world, Its almost like Phil had nothing but love to give and Rajih was simply humbled by the fact that he had been lucky enough to receive said Affection. He only hoped that Phil felt that Rajih gave him all he could as well because well, He did. There was no one he worried more about in the Academy then he did Phil, It almost felt like he was the boy's husband or something. Laughing at his own internal musings, he shook his head. "Then I will probably come help out when I can, After studies and what not I'll see if I can help out." Already Rajih was planning and adjusting his time in the school with his free time. If anything, he would be learning something at least being in the pharmacy as well. Healing after all, wasn't his specialty.

"It figures, Its cute thought that you are like that." Rajih referred to the klutziness of Phil, "Otherwise it would be boring wouldn't it?" The sad thing about Rajih is that he had the oddest quirks. though he took no pleasure in Phil's pain, he did in fact enjoy that the boy did run into things...or trip over the most miraculous things. Like he said, It was never boring after all and he either spent time helping Phil or well...he was chuckling to himself forever and forever. It was almost like his weird thing with Theo, where he spent most of his time spent with Theo on the pure joy of making the other boy mad. Oh how he loved to tease Theo after all.

"Teamwork gets things done without huge strain on everyone. Plus it'll help for when I become a Cerebrus Knight after all, they work in teams as well." Rajih nodded, "Depending is nice I suppose." He mumbled, maybe he would play more team sports with Phil or something? he could some what depend on Phil for Physical activities after all...or maybe Phil could depend on him for the physical stuff. Rajih nodded to himself.

"I raise like the dead to eat the Ice cream!!!"
Rajih raised his hands and walked stiffly around, moaning about Ice cream in his best Zombie like voice before grabbing Phil's shoulders and shaking them. "Iceeeeee Creeeeeam~" He muttered before letting go and laughing. Tucking his hands over his head, Rajih watched Phil put on some finishing touches before shaking his head. "A worry-wort and Workaholic, Don't you have someone to come home to?" Rajih joked, still shaking his head. Phil really needed to be watched after all, it sucked that Rajih still lived in the Academy after all. "Good thing I came and found you didn't I?" Rajih gave pointed stare, "I bet you would've been here a lot longer if I hadn't." sighing, he rubbed the back of his neck, waiting patiently for his friend to do the rest of his business.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 22, 2011 12:14 pm

Phil chuckled awkwardly and gave a small shrug, knowing every word of his trusty friend to be more than just true enough. He had no shame when it came to things like that; as a matter of fact he had absolutely no shame about what he did, what he believed or who he was. Sure enough there were many people that did truly believe he should but just because they did, it didn't mean he could give up. And of course he'd be a worrywart, of course he'd worry to the death and back. There was absolutely nothing they could do to stop him -and, after all, he deserved to worry. Especially about Theo and Rajih- the latter even more; because his brother was too headstrong to be held back by any means and even though they had been brought up together, being inseparable -and their feelings about each other remained unchanged- they were now walking completely different paths. Thinking he might eventually lose Rajih the same way made his heart dive dangerously low in his chest... as a matter of fact it hurt enough that he wouldn't even dare think about it. He was always the happiest when he was with him because, unlike many people, Rajih reciprocated the kindness always trying his best. They were birds of a feather, in a sense, even though vastly different at the same time. Phil didn't mind, couldn't possibly mind...

"C-Cute!!!?" Phil exclaimed feeling his cheeks flare. Of all the things to say! Why did Rajih have to phrase it like this? Cute was a term you used for... adorable things... like girls or stuffed animals... or Alchemia, except if they were as savage as his Desmond was. "I-I do guess it would, though~" he laughed. He was pretty much used to live with his clumsiness. He was highly pain-resistant by that time and with his new-found powers he found it to be excessively easier to heal himself as well. Some medicine and rest was all it took for his miraculous fifth seal to kick in place and work its, quite literal, magic. He most often shrugged off all his accidents with but some laughter and help from his friends. They always just happened, after all... nothing to do about it.

"That it does~" Phil nodded his head. It would appear his friend was growing wiser and wiser as the time would go by and Phil secretly hoped he would one day, in fact, do realize his dream and become a valiant Cerberus Knight that protected all those in need. Sometime, Phil thought it would be great if he could take him to meet his teacher. After all, Matrekyu had to teach the boy a great deal of things, just like he could his brother, if nothing because of his very bizarre circumstances. Surely, one day, he would. But until then... "It really gives a sense of peace, that it does..." he nodded. Nobody could live alone, after all. His own thoughts, coupled with Rajih's comment moments later made him think a bit harder about it. He had moved out of the dorms early... and with Desmond's exception he was, as a matter of fact, completely alone at home. Suddenly, he felt the impulsive need to invite Rajih over for a sleepover of some sort but... perhaps later, over their frozen treats would be a better time to discuss such a thing.

"I think the correct term you're looking for, my dear Rajih, is 'brains'" Phil chuckled at his friend's antics, picking up a few things he had left lying around -mainly potion notes- and tucking them safely in his pockets as he waved to the pharmacist behind her counter. He wanted to leave as fast as possible all of a sudden when, if left alone, he could have stayed until late at night doing minor things here and there. Just like that, he found himself sliding his hand in Rajih's and pulling him along so they went out in the street at last. "Yes, as a matter of fact." he nodded his head setting off towards the square. "I think I might have stayed until late night, actually... the shopkeeper always has trouble getting to kick me off, but I don't really mind..." he shrugged lightly.

Rajih chuckled at his friends shock at the word cute before rubbing his chin. Beyond teasing Theo, the other twin, Rajih loved to tease Phil in another sense. "Yes Cute, Adorable, It makes me wanna just eat you all up~" Rajih joked before waving his hand, "Trust me, it really is never boring being around you. Even if you yourself don't know it." He laughed loudly before clearing his throat. Phil was cute, and helplessly adorable. He was like a puppy! Well almost like a puppy.

"Exactly, One day I want to achieve being a Knight." Rajih nodded his head again before speaking, "Yeah, Its nice to know someone's got your back no matter what. Plus its nice to be depended on. Makes me feel wanted." Rajih shook his head. He was spoiled to death by Phil's kindness after all and yet, he still pined for other's to accept him as he was. Though, even if nobody did, Rajih would forever hold to Phil's kindness and friendship.

"No, Brains are gross." He made a face at the comment before sticking out his tongue. "Who needs more brains? I am a ice cream zombie! Rawr!" he said again and did the pose with the creepy voice before waving his hand at the pharmacy. "Plus there is no Ice cream in here so we shou-" Rajih jumped when the other boy took his hand and dragged him outside, it was a delicately warm hand after all and Rajih stared at it before smiling. When he first met Phil, He had been afraid to ever touch him in case he took too much magic but now, and thanks to Salem, He was able to do things normally with the other boy. Such as holding hands like now!

"See, you need me around alright!" Rajih shook his head before laughing, "I really do wonder how you survive! Maybe I should come stay with YOU for a week instead of helping out at the store." Rajih joked again as they headed to the ice cream shop.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 29, 2011 12:56 am

Phil took a few turns, flailing his arms in despair at Rajih's words and found himself sighing right afterwards. Seriously, he didn't mind the teasing. It was an endearing sort of friendly affection, to poke fun at someone, not necessarily ill-intentioned, knowing that the other person most likely won't mind anyway. "Ah~ first my Alchemia, now you as well? Can you please not eat me, maybe?" he pretended to frown and looked away. Phil didn't really know what was it with his 'taste' and people but it seem to happen all the more as of lately... people wanting to... eat him in some sense. "Never boring, you say?" Phil laughed, amused at the statement. He, himself, could really find something particularly amazing about himself. He couldn't pinpoint something that made him special or caused him to stand out that anyone could immediately recognize upon seeing. Sure, his views on the world were quite different but you had to get to know him first in order to realize such a thing. "I guess it might not be." he went on. "Especially if you're some nerd that enjoys growing plants and getting off with potions and alchemy." he teased -at himself more than anyone else- and shrugged.

"One day I'll take you to meet my teacher." Phil smiled gently at Rajih dream of becoming a knight. He might be surprised to see someone so very similar to himself up at those elusive ranks, Phil was certain, but that would have to wait for another time. Phil didn't really want to overwhelm his good friend with all that, at least not until he had graduated. "Whoever doesn't 'want' you around, Rajih, is making a grave error." Phil laughed softly "You're the best friend one can have." he didn't care if it was embarrassing to say. After all he wasn't the one that was calling himself 'cute' and 'adorable' until moments ago.

"Before you say that brains are gross, remember you probably have one up there also." he pretended to reprimand Rajih of his foolishness before giving up on the act, a soft sigh escaping his lips. Something always made him feel at ease when he was with friends, always. And he lived, he breathed for those moments, those gentle intervals that he didn't have to be so serious, that he didn't have to be grown up but he could simply be... himself, as he was. So he kept holding Rajih's hand as he made his way to the square enjoying the time spent in that way.

"Of course I need you Rajih..." he grinned, looking at his friend before nodding his head. "And you do know you're welcome to stay at my house for as long as you like anyway, yes?" he questioned, tilting his head to one side. "I'd love to have you around." he didn't own a home for nothing after all.

Rajih was definitely amused by now. It was funny to watch the reactions of Phil in full effect. I mean look at the kid, he was flailing his arms around because Rajih joked about eating him up, in all honestly though, Phil was just to adorable to not tease like this. He could try to explain to his friend what it would be like to taste Phil but in all truth, that would mean putting his mouth on some naked part of his friend and he just...wasn't ready for that here. Nope not at all. "Your Alchemia? That floating bunny one that I think you might've told me about once in a blue moon?" Rajih waved his hand, "No worries~ I want Ice cream so your safe from my hunger.....for now." Rajih winked at his friend before putting his hands behind his head, "Nope never boring, Don't know what I would do through my days if I didn't get to see your face anyways. How am I suppose to laugh and have fun without you around?" Rajih turned around and poked a finger in Phil's chest, "Your not a nerd, and potions and alchemy turn you on? Brother you must be easy to please then." Rajih joked again before shrugging.

"Your teacher? What kinda of guy is he?"
Rajih was interested now, If Phil liked a teacher enough then maybe Rajih would like him. He blushed now at Phil's comments before waving his hand again, "Oh do go on Phil, Your making my little old heart flutter~" He laughed again before wrapping his arm around Phil's shoulder.

"Brains~~~" He made the face again as he reached up to tweak Phil's nose, "Just because I have one, doesn't mean I want to eat one bleh. Would you eat your own brains? Or other peoples brains? Grossssss~" Rajih stuck his tongue, "Oh good, Hate to be all cool and be like, 'You need me all the time Phil' when you don't actually need me...per se."

"Really? I'll have to think about that, I'll be graduating soon anyways so I might have to bunk until I can find somewhere else to live." Rajih sighed, "Seeing as most of the money I have left is dwindling down to nothing. Soon I'll have to get a job too." He smiled at Phil before waving his hand, "I'll have to be careful though, wouldn't want to wake up in the middle of the night with munchies and come after your brains!" Rajih joked combing their zombie jokes with the earlier eating Phil up. "Oh here it is! Ice cream~" He repeated happily as he wandered over there and looked over the flavors.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 14, 2011 12:37 pm

If Phil had known of the thoughts that were circulating around his good friend's head it was a very likely possibility that he'd blush enough to overheat and pass out on the spot. It would also most likely make him the first person to actually mange to faint due to blushing too much; but that wasn't the issue right now. After all he had had some unexpected run-ins with innuendo as of lately and his mind had, as a result, wandered into slightly darker paths on that subject. "It's a pudding monster... but yes, him. Desmond..." Phil sighed and shook his head. He had most likely made the worst pick a person could do and he found only after it was too late. Hopefully his familiar partner when he would become stronger and finally be allowed to try and summon would be at least slightly more manageable. Then again with his luck it'll end up being some sort of feral demon that would join Desmond in taste-sampling his flesh and blood. In any case... he was sure that Rajih wouldn't be quite as unpleasant when tasting him if he ended up doing that but Phil himself would have to worry himself with a lot of other things afterwards even if he couldn't help himself from being predisposed to openly love everyone unconditionally.

"P-Please don't eat me, Rajih..." Phil sighed, pretending to frown. "Think of the people that need me, think of you..." he looked away, pulling into himself to look vulnerable and insecure making the cutest, most distressed expression he could manage. "If you eat me then I can never see you again..." Phil sighed and pretended to frown at the next comment. "Well~ I wouldn't exactly call myself easy... I'm very particular on that also." he fixed his glasses with one hand failing at looking intimidating and shrugged, giving the subject up as well.

"He's... he's a good person..." Phil smiled gently. He was a lot more than just that but that was an accurate description if nothing. He didn't say anymore seeing how it wasn't really his place to disclose secrets of that sort like how he'd never really tell that Rajih was a Majin without his permission to begin with. He simply wasn't this kind of person. "I'll take you to meet him and you can decide for yourself." Phil smiled; although he knew Matrekyu and Rajih would better have a talk in privacy than have him eavesdropping on their conversation. He sighed before bursting into laughter at Rajih's antics again "I only say the truth and you know it!" he exclaimed, leaning a bit into Rajih's warmth. And truly, to him, Rajih had been so many things already. Phil didn't even want to as much as humor the possibility of losing him.

"Of course I wouldn't." Phil sighed before shrugging. Brains weren't really his style either. He'd much more prepare something sweet or some fruit perhaps. He smiled at Rajih's comment about him needing him and nodded. "I don't think that there'll be a day when I don't need you so don't worry yourself with that, hmm?" he turned to admire his friend and found himself chuckling again. "Really Rajih, you don't need to find 'somewhere else to live' I'd honestly won't mind having you around." he sighed and lowered his gaze at his feet. It would be fun to stay with his best friend and it would be nice to return home to someone after all. "I trust you enough to hope that you can control yourself enough not to eat my brains. Plus, you just admitted to not liking them. I have hardly anything to fear, I'd say."

Following Rajih over to his elusive source of joy he went through the flavours once himself although he already knew what he wanted to have. "I'll have strawberry and vanilla, how about you, Rajih?" he offered, tucking his hands in his pockets to look for money.

Rajih smiled at his friend as he spoke of the Alchemia and wondered what the little thing was like. A pudding monster? How interesting! He certainly wanted to meet the little fella, especially if he shared the same small crude humor that Rajih share.....Especially if it was the same humor over Phil himself. "Pudding monster?" Rajih repeated the though out loud before laughing, "His name is Desmond? Awesome!" Rajih clapped his hands together, his thoughts no longer on tasting his friend, even though siphoning magic in some sort of way was in fact tasting his friend. He wouldn't comment on that though, it already embarrassed him enough that he was receiving such a intimate gift from his best friend. Regardless that the witch could regenerate magic daily, Rajih always felt like he took a piece with him.

Waggling his eyebrows at Phil, he made another mock motion at the boy, hinting that he wanted to eat his brains before pulling back and waving his hand. "You get off for today my frieeeeeeend~" Rajih said with a snake like whisper, "But I might come again tomorrow for your brains!" Rajih snorted before sighing, "It's true, you have to many people that need you. PLUS WHO WILL BUY ME ICE CREAM SOMETIMES?" Rajih shook his head in horror. "I need to protect you even more!" Rajih looked up and down the streets, "Stay close Phil in case anything happens!"

He looked back over to the boy as he talked about the Teacher and felt a little surge of jealousy, he had never seen Phil talk about someone so...well besides him. Though he quelched the feeling, after all, If Phil really liked the Teacher it had to be a really good man. Plus there was something more, Rajih could feel it. The teacher could be someone of great power and wisdom after all.

"Living at your house?" Rajih cocked his head before shaking it, "You don't wanna do that after all! I am a majin, what if someone found out I was living with you? Wouldn't that put you into a lot of trouble or something? I'd rather live on the street before I get you in trouble for that Phil." Rajih meant the last part to be light hearted by a certain dread rose up, how was he going to survive after the academy? He had come their for a haven, and at the moment hadn't thought of what to do after. When he graduated, where would he go? He couldn't stay with Phil the whole time after all, and he didn't know anyone else as he did Phil. He pushed the thoughts away, no need to stress over it now, he thought to himself.

"Well that's good! Hate to be around you if you don't want me around you know? Cramping your style and all." Rajih waved his hand, "I'll take a um...Chocolate and raspberry swirl!" Rajih looked up the ice cream man and smiled, he looked like a child in the candy store just from the glee on his face. After Phil paid and he was happily licking at the cone in hand, he came to stand by his friend. "Whatcha wanna do now Phil?" He said as his tongue caught the melting line on the cone.

Phil sighed a little. It so happened that his little friend was a rather rare Alchemia but as far as he was concerned it didn't give him an excuse to be this mean anyway. His tries to educate the creature through all sorts of means had furthermore proved rather fruitless as the little thing would always act unpredictably in both positive and negative ways. He just had no way of measuring what would come next so he had eventually resigned to his fate. "Yeah... that's his species, I suppose. Its a furry, pink, animal-like thing with a good number of six tails and very sharp teeth..." he tried to describe the best he could but ended up shrugging. Magical creatures where so extremely diverse after all...

Phil chuckled softly at Rajih's final attempt to relieve him of his brain before stretching, placing both hands behind his head to form a pillow to lean against and relieve his slightly aching neck; reminding himself why it wasn't a very good idea to hunch over your work material for a long time. His eyes gazed upon the distant horizon for a second and he felt himself slow down, stricken almost by the realization of what he always knew anyway. There were, indeed, people that needed him. Some more than others, some less. That was the job of a medic, a pharmacist. He existed to aid, to help... but then there were some cases that even he could do little about even though he fought so long and hard to come on top. Some days he just felt like suffocating, then the slightest things would give him hope again -because he couldn't afford to be weak. If people wanted to protect him it meant they would risk their own safety for him which was something Phil could not allow. So he couldn't be weak, it wasn't even a matter of choice, he simply could not afford something like that.

Returning his eyes to the world bellow he let himself land back into reality in safe time just so he wouldn't worry Rajih or anything and laughed a little at his terrified question of not having him around to buy him ice cream. "I'll buy you ice cream even if I have to return as a ghost." he made haste to assure him, nodding his head thoughtfully to give weight to his absurd comment. "Don't worry." he underlined before shrugging a bit. It wasn't as if anything could happen in broad daylight if they wanted to.

Phil would have laughed, or perhaps been surprised if he could have known his words had caused Rajih to feel even a little jealous. He couldn't have possibly even imagined that he could cause someone to feel like that, after all he never distinguished when he offered his friendship, when he offered feelings... He had always thought it to be quite sad how people would so readily divide things instead of trying to deal with them fairly and equally. And that was, perhaps, exactly the reason why Rajih's following words made him flinch.

Did his friend think of himself as a burden? Did he really think that just because he was Majin he'd get him into trouble? And how, just how could he put in words his thoughts? How could Phil explain in the plainest way possible that he thought everything but that when he asked that. So he brought himself to a full halt because there were too many things in his head to allow him to walk at this point, forgetting to move his feet entirely. "How many times do I have to repeat that it doesn't matter for you to understand?" a small smile curved his lips but it wasn't entirely honest and it hurt Phil even though it was relatively harmless. "Human? Majin? Why do you have to keep thinking of them as separate things? Why should it matter what you are, what I am? Why should it matter that we're different? We're friends... right?" he lowered his eyes to the ground and sighed. "What I want to say is that, I'd rather be publicly prosecuted and shunned for giving shelter to a Majin than not take you in when you're in need of a place to stay. I'd rather get into trouble for you than letting you choose something else so just I could have it easy. That's just not who I am. That's what I believe." he couldn't hope to change the way people thought of the Majin if he couldn't establish an example even to his closest friend.

He'd have loved to continue, he'd have loved to say more but his friend did know where he was coming from. They had made this discussion once before when they had first met, when they had entrusted each other their secrets. That and he wasn't yet comfortable speaking about his ideals openly. He entrusted them to people, one at a time. People he figured could understand him, sympathize with him. He was creating a movement, that's where all change stems from in the end. He licked his ice cream thoughtfully and sighed. "S-Sorry..." he felt the need to apologize, never one to favour any sort of conflict when all was said and done. "...would you like to take a walk? Sometimes the town can be somehow relaxing, sometimes..." he offered. "Or we could stray out of town... it's quiet out in the fields at this time..." it was more reckless, of course, even if it was early, to stray away from the more populated areas but Phil was used to that as well, having to take countless lonely trips to the woods when everyone was asleep just to gather his herbs if nothing else.
