Vorg is a rare and heavily guarded planet in the Delta Quadrant. So far, it is the only known source of Thurium, the alloy used in Power Armor. It is a barren grey rock of a world, whos only feature on the surface is a maximum security prison, which is were the Empire gets the labor it uses in the Thurium Mines below the surface.
In the Mines, conditions are hellish. High temperatures wear away the toughest beings, and the guards are brutal and cruel. Thurium must be mined at high temperatures to keep it's unique properties intact, so no cooling of any type is allowed, unless its in the armor used by the guards, or within the laborer barracks. Death is common here, and life is cheap.
