User Image

Family Motto:
Istiny. Krovʹ. Zheleznyĭ. (Truth. Blood. Iron.)
This translates to mean that truth can be found through battle (battle = blood of the Motherland as well as the enemy and iron of both sides)

Family Base Location:
Moscow, Russia

Available number of members:
5/25 (20 available)

Family Description and History:
The Chesnokov Family was originally viewed as a dishonorable group of thugs. Throughout a dozen generations, the Chesnokov family was renowned for being the ruling group when it comes to human trafficking, drug trafficking, robberies and money laundering. The guild was first founded by Alexander Chesnokov in the late 19th century. Through the 20th century, the generation heads went by fast (the second boss died after two days in office, to name the shortest term), with only a couple staying more tha 10 years in office due to extreme corruption and competition. The 11th Generation boss served the longest term with 12 years, though in the end even he died an unnatural death. Though even with this past, none view it as a "curse" of any source. Death has simply become such a part of everyone's lives that they simply dismiss it as nothing. Even when Hyun-Jung was a member of the family, there were acts of corruption and lawlessness. However, when the teenage girl rose to power, she sought to change their image. Through her charisma, Hyun-Jung showed the members of the Chesnokov family what it meant to truly be a family. Now, though they still deal in mafia business, the 13th Generation of the Chesnokov family is know as one of the most honorable families among the mafia.

Recurring NPCs Within the Chesnokov Family

User Image

Nikolai Dobtcheff
Nikolai is a very cold man. He speaks few words and tends to judge and give people nasty looks. Since he has been in the Chesnokov family through many generations, he has learned to, rather than act on what he feels right, learn what the boss feels is right and act on that instead. Despite his seemingly two-faced nature, he is a good man, and respects Juliet, his current boss, beyond what how he has respected any other boss.

When Nikolai first joined the Chesnokov family, he was a very young man. Eager to be in the mafia from the stories he had heard and blissfully unaware of any real repercussions the mafia had. The boss at this time was a strange man... He was flirty with the girls and thus the only image Nikolai had of the mafia was his boss, who had no difficulty with picking up girls. Then, Nikolai went on his first mission with his boss. The mission was a chaotic failure. In Poland, they got caught on a small heist by the Polish police, and of course they retaliated. There was a shoot off, the boss died, and Nikolai barely escaped. The next boss was a different sort of man. Like one would think a mafia boss would be. Older, smoking, ruthless. Nikolai knew that to survive in the world, he had to adjust to this boss. He became his right hand man through acting exactly the same as his boss. For ten years, this man survived as the boss with Nikolai at his side. Somewhere towards the end of his time as a boss, Juliet became a member of the family and after Juliet's act with the heir to a rival family, the boss died and Nikolai was left with bitter feelings towards her. The next boss was whatever, but Nikolai was his right hand man until the idiot blew up.

Then, Juliet was the boss. Honestly, Nikolai did not approve, but he adjusted his behavior to be her right hand as well. But Juliet was different from the others. Young... She took Nikolai along with her on missions and asked his advice on everything. It was apparent that the fifteen year-old girl was still to naive to be a mafia boss... But Nikolai went along with her anyways, though he did not approve as he still blamed the 11th generation's boss's death on her. On one mission, Nikolai got his leg crushed by a falling piece of rubble, and in order to escape it had to be cut off. With an artificial leg, he returned to Juliet to await what she would do to him. Honestly, he expected a bullet to his brain, as this was what the 11th generation boss would have done. Rather, Juliet simply removed him from missions. He is not exactly her "right hand" anymore, but he still acts as an advisor to her at times and spends most of his time at the mansion as he does not go on missions.

Dmitri Iltchenko
Dmitri is the pilot for the Chesnokov family. His piloting skills and engineering intelligence are unrivaled across Europe. He is a very honorable and respectful young man, who would die for his family before he would see anything hurt it. Though he may seem timid with his overwhelming respectful attitude, he is actually remarkably well-spoken for a man who spends all of his time in a cockpit. Dmitri is the same age as Juliet, and one could even say that he has a crush on her due to her staggering beauty.

When Dmitri was only 16, he joined a Russian mafia family. Not long after, the Chesnokov family began to rise to power. Like many other small families, Dmitri's family decided to become a part of the Chesnokov family to avoid being destroyed by it. Unlike the other small families, Dmitri's family was a scheming, backstabbing family. They decided that they would take out the Chesnokov family from the inside out, starting with the boss. At this point, Dmitri had never even met the boss, but knew that it was unwise and dishonorable to do so. As such, as any member of a family would do, Dmitri reported that his former family was plotting the boss's assassination directly to the boss herself. There was a small fight, that was over quickly as the Chesnokov family was a stronger family. Then, Juliet planned what she would do to the survivors. The others had survived through cowardice, and so she had them executed. Dmitri thought he would be killed as well, after all he did "tattle" on his family. But Juliet deemed it the honorable thing to do, and so he was allowed to stay in the family and is currently their pilot.

Doctor Vilhelm Freijs
Dr. Freijs is the primary medical practitioner of the Chesnokov family. He is a very strange man. While he is very gifted at healing people, he prefers it if they don't heal. The Latvian man has a fascination with cadavers, and lets his patients die so he can cut them open. At the same time, he doesn't come off as the type to do something such as this. Rather, to most he comes off as a kind young doctor who will do anything for his patients.

After Dr. Freijs got his medical degree in England, he moved to Russia to examine corpses left behind by acts of the Russian mafia. Of course, this put him on the trail to the Chesnokov family, as he says, "All corpses here lead to the Chesnokov." The boss at this point was the 12th generation boss, who was an insolent little brat. Yet, Dr. Freijs joined to examine corpses. He became good friends with Aldrich, the Chesnokov engineer/chemist, and together they plotted the destruction of the 12th generation boss. Almost all the other members of the family knew that they were plotting his destruction, but they didn't care because everyone hated him. Thus, together Dr. Freijs and Aldrich planted a land bomb right in the path the 12th boss would walk. Of course, the idiot stepped on it and blew up. Then, once Juliet came to power, Dr. Freijs was much more pleased and satisfied with the new boss. She was an interesting specimen, and Dr. Freijs continued to stick around so that he could have the honor of cutting open her pretty little corpse when she died.

Aldrich Brauner
Aldrich Brauner is a German engineer. He is a Jewish man, who spends his time not tinkering with equipment studying the Talmud. Contrary to his friend, Dr. Freijs, Aldrich is not a fan of corpses and is not outwardly friendly. Rather, he is quiet and rough to others. The exceptions to this are the boss and a select other few. Despite his nature making him seem like a silent brute, Aldrich is one of the most intelligent members of the family.

As a child, Aldrich's fascination with both the Talmud and engineering had him caught between becoming and engineer or becoming a Rabbi. He met an engineer on a trip to Berlin who inspired him to abandon school and become an engineer himself. His parents would not approve, and so he ran away to Poland. For all of his early adulthood, Aldrich wandered through Eastern Europe until he eventually reached Moscow. There, he met a mafia boss who needed an engineer, and before Aldrich knew it, he was involved in the Russian mafia in the Chesnokov family. For all of the 11th boss's time as boss, Aldrich fixed planes, cars, and other equipment. When the boss died, Aldrich was devastated. Being an engineer, he had no idea why the boss had died, nor even knew about Juliet being the possible cause. Aldrich had kept himself isolated from the rest of the family, and to this day he doesn't know any of the members of the family, save for the boss and his best friend (to be introduced later). Still, whoever the next boss was wouldn't be able to get rid of Aldrich as he was the best engineer the Chesnokov family would ever have.

The 12th boss came along and Aldrich hated him. Truly hated him. He was some Japanese man who was a self-righteous, insolent little brat. Exactly the type of person who Aldrich hated. Around this time, Dr. Freijs joined the family and somehow they got along quite well and became fast friends. Together, they plotted the destruction of the 12th boss, whom they both detested. Aldrich created a mine, Dr. Freijs helped to make it more deadly. The idiotic little brat stepped on it, blew up, and was replaced by Juliet. Immediately, Aldrich took a liking to the new boss. She didn't bother him, and let him work in peace. This was all Aldrich required to be happy in life, and so he worked for Juliet without argument.

David Miller
David Miller is in charge of leading most Chesnokov foreign operations. The big missions are lead by Guardians and Volch'ya Staya, but he leads the small business. Most of the time, he smiles and is flirtatious, however when working he is ruthless and will kill you if you hesitate or even flinch as though you are going to hurt the mission, be you enemy or friend.

David is an American who came over to Eastern Europe after high school. There, he wandered about and worked any work that came along. Most of these were business such as driving the getaway car in heists. One of his primary employers was the Chesnokov family. After a year or two of him as a hired hand, they recruited him for the family. He was hesitant at first, but decided to join them as it was employment until he died. At this point, the 10th boss was in power. A few months after David joined the Chesnokov family, the 10th boss died and the 11th came to power. The only thing which changed from the switch in boss was that the 11th placed David in charge of all the foreign operations. For ten years, David worked along side the 11th boss and was one of the primary hands which helped the Chesnokov family become a huge name in the mafia world. Somewhere during this time, Juliet joined the family and was David's right hand in all the missions. Then, the 11th boss died and David's position within the Chesnokov family changed and his life as a mafioso went downhill.

The brat thought it best to put someone he knew in charge of the foreign missions, and so another little brat who didn't know jack about being a mafioso was David's superior. Of course, this pissed him off and he was just about ready to quit the family when he heard about Aldrich and Dr. Freijs's plan to take out the 12th boss. As one of the people in the Chesnokov family who work in the field, David knew that he could help to properly execute the plan. In the night, he killed the kid who was in charge of foreign missions and the 12th had no choice but to put David back into power. David then literally lead the 12th into the mine set by Aldrich and Dr. Freijs. Then, Juliet came into power. She put the Guardian system into place, and so the Guardians were in charge of all the major missions, but David was still in charge of the small missions. Being who he is, despite being about twenty years older than Juliet, David still flirts with her and was even the one who started her nickname around the time of the incident with the heir of the rival family.
