Physics Book | Karitzu | . . .

So how do I get one of these kid things?

Karitzu lazily sipped tea in his study, his finger running across the velvet fabric of his comfy chair that sat at his thick wood desk. An astrophysics book sat laid out halfway through in front of him, a notebook to the right with a pen laying across a half-scribbled sheet of notes. Running a finger down his smooth face, he put his tea down and touched a button on the intercom that sat at the corner of his study.

"Ellonius, please get the car ready, I should like to go to this adoption agency and procure a child."

"Right away, sir."

Karitzu stood to his feet and stretched, brushing out his shirt and then stepped out into the hallway of his mansion. He made his way to his bedroom, and changed into a three piece suit, standard black and white colors, with a bright red tie. He stepped down the polished wooden stairs and briskly made his way to the vehicle that sat motionless in the driveway, but running none the less. He sat down in the back of the car, leaning his head back idly as his butler began to drive them off.

"Hire an interior decorator, decorate my child's room with physics related things. I should like him to be involved in the sciences."

"I will make the arrangements as soon as we are there, sir."

Karitzu brushed his hairs with his fingers and looked outside, bored with the world. Perhaps the care of a child would break his boredom.

As they arrived, the driver pulled the car up to a slow and steady halt outside the premises, and opened the door for Karitzu. Karitzu nodded and pushed through the single door and paused in the doorway. A fountain sat on the inside. Peculiar. He walked forward and circled it several times, inspecting the craftsmanship until a receptionist spoke up.

"Sir?"

Karitzu paused, turned his head and then stood straight, making his way to the receptionist's desk.

"Oh yes. I heard I could adopt a child here. Seeing as I'm a single parent and all, I'd like to take up your offer and obtain one. "

"Alright...If you would fill out this paperwork, and we will send someone down to have you tour the facility before bringing you into contact with your child."

Karitzu took the clipboard that was given to him, the pen that was supplied, and moved off to fill out the paperwork. He mumbled under his breath about the only teaching his child would need is from him and that people didn't hire good teachers anymore. Once the paperwork was filled, he dropped the clipboard back onto the counter. The receptionist looked up, took the paperwork with one hand and went back to what she was doing, scanning her eyes down two sets of paperwork, now that she had his.

"Alright Mr. Masamune, please step this way and we'll get you acquainted with the grounds.

Karitzu stood back in the lobby once more when a small child entered the room, accompanied by a larger looking man. After a few whispers from the man, the little boy walked slowly to Karitzu and gripped some of the fabric of his suit in his little hand. Karitzu resisted the urge to slap away someone wrinkling his suit and smiled.

"Hello there."

The kid opened his mouth and lifted his arms. Karitzu picked him up but the child still seemed like he wanted something.

"I'll give you a present when we get home. "

Karitzu left with his child, on a safe and uneventful trip of bonding with this toddler.

"I have decided your name is Michael, like the angel," He announced as they arrived home.

Karitzu ruffled the little hair Michael had on his head, and got a typical cooing noise out of him. Carrying the toddler inside, he inspected some of the return paperwork for the child and brought him to the study.

"Now you be a good boy and stay still while Karitzu goes and gets you something to drink."

Karitzu looked about and shifted his eyes back and forth before lifting a physics book that he did not need at the moment and handed it to Michael. Hopefully this would entertain him while he procured tea from the dining area.

Karitzu arrived to see a bright light, and would have normally been startled, but he had tea in his hands.

"What was..."

Michael giggled and looked up at Karitzu as he sat there on the floor. Puzzled, he looked around the child. Perhaps they had given him a flashlight or something. After a little bit of patting Michael down, and Michael giggling at him, he slowly handed Michael a tea cup.

"Please do be careful with this Michael. This is very expensive tea ware..."
