Welcome to the world of HetaQuest! This is an AU (Alternate Universe) MMORPG-based RP.
Yes, with
mages, knights, monsters, quests, guilds, health potions—but of course, not limited to just that.
There will be
multiple Game Masters that will govern the universe of HetaQuest. They will be a fair, unbiased, select few that will be hand picked by the creator. These
Game Masters (or GMs) will be
the NPCS (shop owners, beggars, normal citizens, random employees General characters, you know?), they will
award characters with Hetacoins when reasonable, they will reward you with
reputation points (this will not be explained on this thread for the sake of it not being more so a wall of text. If you would like more information on this, please post your inquiry here or PM me), and they will
cause random events to befall certain characters.
{i.e. Alfred is walking through a forest.
[GM] -An old man is seen up ahead.- }
If Alfred chooses to see what's up, whatever happens to could either benefit him or hurt him. What determines what's good or bad is how creative the RPer is.
i.e. "Alfred walks up the old man." BAD.
i.e. "Alfred is quick to make way to the old man, his heroic instincts boiling and urging him to aid the man from any inconvenience the elder would be in. However, his hasty approach disabled him to observe the classic animal trap laid out and ready to snatch whatever and whoever was idiotic enough to stroll into such an obvious device. Needless to say, Alfred fell victim to this. The vine rope looped around his ankle in a vice grip, much to Alfred's surprise. He twisted into an upside-down position in mid-air and hung aimlessly from the sturdy tree trunk above." GOOD.
Good, creative responses to random events dished out by GMs will be rewarded by beneficial events for the character. Vice versa for bad responses.
i.e. {Bad route worse-case-scenario} The old man turns out to be an assassin send by a tribal clan to eliminate any intruders. Cue the battle scene.
i.e. {Good route} The old man is actually an old man. He helps Alfred down from the animal trap. After apologizing profusely, he offers Alfred a meal and a place to stay for the night. If you're on a quest, the old man might know some information as to how to complete the quest, or perhaps he will offer you an item to help you out on the quest.

The basic goal of everyone is to:
o1. Establish a guild—A permanent team of
at least three people with a super cool guild name.
o2. Obtain 1,000,000 Hetacoins—Obviously the currency to this AU RP. You may collect this through various means. Through
quests, preforming odd jobs, stealing, being a whore, illegal means, or some sort of criminal-mastermind-plan thing, I really don't care.
o3. Make it to the Vargas Colosseum.
Sign up for the "Clash of the Guilds"

and attempt to be the victor—(Excuse me for the lack of a cool name. I was going to use "Guild Wars" but then I was all like "Wait, that wouldn't work").
The "
Clash of the Guilds" is the most looked forward to event in the world of HetaQuest. From all corners of the HetaEarth, citizens flock to the Vargas Colosseum to watch top-notch guilds duke it out in a tournament styled battle.
{ The victorious guild will receive timeless glory and untold riches.
Feel free to converse with your friends to plan out whatever. If guilds get to be too uneven, I will speak up and readjust it. }

Be as many characters as you want if you feel that you can keep all of them
active. If you have more than one character, I ask that you keep them on separate guilds.
I will allow a limit of 3 multiples of characters

We all RP each character differently, so there wont be a problem. All I ask is that you have
a different name and a different class from whoever applied for that character prior to your request.

I will ask you for:
Username—Your screen name, of course.
Nation—Which nation are you applying for?
Obviously, this is so that we know if you're IC or not.
Name—What your character goes by. It doesn't necessarily have to be a human name, or the official name of your character.

Age—How old is your character? It doesn't necessarily have to pertain to the official age of the canon character; just as long as there are no large age differences. You must be
16 or older to participate in the Clash of the Guilds. This doesn't mean your character cannot be younger than 16. Fifteen-year-olds can still travel around in a guild, it just means that they can't actually, you know, fight alongside their guild if/when they sign up for the Clash of the Guilds.
{i.e. Alfred is 17 years old. (canon is 19)
i.e. Ludwig is 18 years old. (canon is 20)
i.e. Sealand is 14 years old. (canon is 12) }
Class Description—What type of class does your character belong to?
Knight, samurai, wizard, mage, healer/full support, etc.
There are endless possibilities. I'm dead serious about this.
Any weapon, any ability,
anything.
If your character uses a weapon and you cannot think of a suitable title, the default will be placing a "Master" or "Wielder" at the end of your weapon.
{i.e. Blade Master, Dual Knife Wielder, Axe Master, Pipe Wielder, etc.}
I will also advise you to become a
Merchant or a
Blacksmith or sorts. A class of the trade, you know? A guild needs to have ways of making money other than going on endless quests. Plus you guys need extra Hetacoins to buy food, potions, weapons, armor, etc.

short description as to how your class works.
Battle Scene RP Sample—Not just any RP sample. I don't want to read about your character walking down a street or buying a loaf of bread. No; a battle scene

The
PURPOSE of this is to show us a demonstration of your powers, abilities, and/or skills. Also to give us the gist of your character and how s/he works.
Unless there is a mutual agreement between you and the other (and you've gotten my permission), I advise you not to use any other nations in your sample. This is because these samples are events that actually happened to your character, and if you include another character who had not obliged to it, meet ups when the actual RP starts will be kind of awkward.
... And I just don't want you to. >|D;
There will be many instances of violence in this RP, and not all of us have had to opportunity to react to such an event.
This is a very open sample. Be creative as to what's threatening your well-being, how your approach it, how to defeat it, how you react if you win or lose.
I will expect this sample to pertain to your character class.
If you're a Full Support character, I don't expect you to be an epic fighter unless you have a really cool trick up your sleeve.
