So recently I've moved on from a crush I had on this dude that went on for about a few months, and guess what? I have a crush on my best friend. Again. *Face desk face desk*
I went over his house to eat pizza and watch a movie, he knows I'm gay, but he asked me to compare girls and say which one is hotter (silly Mikey) and I was so compelled to just lean over and kiss him.
So much.
But of course I had to keep those thoughts inside. *headdesk*
And of course there was one part of the movie when the two best friends who were main characters made-out. Tongue and all. And they were both guys. (BASEketball btw) Just watching that scene made me feel all funny on the inside.
Basically, I just want to scream "MICHEAL I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU AND I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU!" scream
But then what?
Is he going to drift away from me? Are we going to become friends with "benefits"? Is he going to be scared of me? *headdesk*
I just wanted to complain about this stupid problem. *laments in corner*

I just wanted to complain about this stupid problem. *laments in corner* well honestly i don’t know him so i cant really judge his personality ^^; but he seems to be pretty nice. even if he doesn’t like you like that he may be fine with you telling him that (if he’s a really good friend he should be at least). unless he’s homophobic (which hes obviously not) i don’t personally think he would be scared but it could depend on how you tell him as well. thats just my opinion ^^;

I agree with the poster above. He seems to be a good friend and will probably at least understand if you tell him.

It may not be the most honest or sincere way to go about it, but you could have a mutual friend let it "slip" that you like him. If you can find the courage to, though, I think it'd be better to tell him yourself.

oh i tell my bestie that im crushin on him all the time! i mean, he's a hottie! but then i dont tell him i wanna have an intimate relationship with him only cuz i dont wanna ruin our super long friendship. also, i wouldnt date him only cuz he's got a girlfriend, and he's a little too hairy for my taste

I've had straight friends all my life, I can never seem to meet any gay guys, other then through the internet, but rarely in person.
So i end up crushing on my straight friends alot... (at least the hot ones) I dont normally come out and tell them, but I would have to assume they know... I'm not very subtle about it...
I've gotten used to the whole homoerotic joking around that straight guys do with each other, so I used to have this one friend who I think may have mistaken my joking around with being attracted to him. I mean he was alright but not really my type...
point I'm trying to get at is, he knew I was gay, but even though I think he believed I wanted to make out with him he didnt push me away. he wasnt going to do it obviously, be he was at least flattered that he Believed I found him attractive.
I cant tell you how he will react but if you feel the urge to tell him just do it so you dont leave the feelings bottled up.
Who knows? maybe you'll catch him during his "experimentation phase" wink

He is a very cool guy, he's popular with the girls since he's a real hottie and stuff, and when I came out to him as gay he was like 'Coo, I dont't care tho, it's just like your interests and stuff'
*Sigh*
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll just tell one of my friends who is a girl, I bet one of them will spread the rumor around and it'll get to him sooner or later.
I'm not being sexist, sweatdrop but I know one of those girls WILL spread this around that a guy likes Micheal who is real popular among the girls.
That, or I'll try to gather up the courage to tell him. emo

And he seems like a pretty cool guy, so the worst that would happen is that you find out that he doesnt feel the same way. Even though you want him to, at least you'll still be friends.

I just wanted to complain about this stupid problem. *laments in corner* May I just say that you sound exactly like me in those situations. you should be my new friend biggrin but take it from someone whos confessed to their best friend, her straight best friend that shes loves her. If you do tell him it means there is a harsh possibility that he might not want to talk to you, or he might be understanding but just not feel the same, but there's always the possibilty that he likes you back too. (I hope that one happens for you). It all depends on whether or not you're willing to risk the friendship to admit your feelings, or if you feel you'd rather keep quiet about your feelings to avoid any... issues? from arising. In all honesty it's a very delicate situation.

Well, just tell him that you think hes hot. This really reminds me of a short film of 2 guys living together, 1 gay 1 straight. I can give you the link if you want. Its a bit sad ending for the gay dude. Anyway, all I'm trying to say is just tell him you think hes hot (when you get the courage). The movie is great and well fitted to the situation. It does, however, have a sexual scene but only 1 and its really short.
