My boyfriend lives in Canada and I live in Florida. I've never met him in real life, but I've never felt this way about anyone else, and dream about the day we eventually meet (Like, actual dreams >.<)
I have estimated the cost of going to see him at around 500 usd, giving me 2 nights in a hotel... and cant think of something I would rather spend the money on... the only problem is im starting collage, and am dirt poor... so I got at the minimum, one semester to wait....

I think long distance relationships depend completely on the people in them. It takes a lot more effort and is really taxing on the couple. I for one suck at long distance relationships, even if there just friendships, and its not because i don't miss the person its because im a really physical person, i need human contact to have a relationship, not to mention im really awkward online for some reason. >__< Although im really hoping that i can learn how to handle a long distance relationship soon, as i'll be moving six hours away from my current girlfriend in less then a year and REALLY want to make it work T__T

I have something to add. When your lover is crying and needs to be held, you can't be there to do that in a long-distance relationship. That's all I got.
