Have you ever had two competitions on one day?
At sectionals at band camp yesterday, we were looking at the band schedule, and noticed that UofA band day was the same day as state champs. If we make it to state champs, it will be a 2 hour drive from band day. Well, something similar happened last year with state and band day, and so the university changed dates. I kind of hope they dont this year and we do make it to champs. So does the rest of the section. Since band day has two sessions, a morning and a night, and state champs is only 10 bands, we thought it would be awesome if we could do both. Go to mornign session of band day, then go straight to champs. Or vice versa.
Anyone had an experience or the possibility of an experience like that?

not quite like that, but in my high school's winter circuit there's 2 competitions in one day in the same city. they do that on purpose though. they have a lot more coordinating to do with times and stuff. basically its like DL at one school, DL at second school, guard at the first school, no time for first school's awards, guard at second school, second school awards. its a fun day. we have to load the truck a million times haha. also in middle school we did 2 different circuits so we had one NCBA show in the morning and then a CCGC show that night about...probably 2 hours away lol it was crazy
