It took a moment for Mira to gather her thoughts and return to reality. "Apologies. I'm not usually like this," she said sheepishly. Perhaps it was all in her head, but she could've swore that a gentle wave of heat rolled off of Helios's golden feathers. It was warm, yet not stifling. Pleasant, That was the word she was looking for. ...Very pleasant. Having Helios stand close with his wing shielding her, she couldn't help but feel safe as if nothing bad would ever happen. A smile spread across her face as she let the feeling wash over her like a soothing breeze over the plains.
She had no idea how much time had passed before she lightly shook herself, causing her long mane to ripple down her neck. "You are quite the charmer, Helios," she said. Though it bear the tone of a tease, Mira meant it as a compliment.

The god removed his wing from her, seeing as no threat was poised as they stood there. Being a God, he was used to swooning mares easily, without an intention to do so. He laughed quietly, "Do not apoligies, it's nice to see the earthly affections." Golden eyes swept across the lands before him, the sun was beating down on him. He closed his eyes and smiled, soaking it in. His mane and tail glitted against the suns rays, he was happy to see he could make her a happy mare.
With a small swoop if his wings he lifted his hooves off the ground slightly, his wings needed a stretch. He flapped his wings, turning around to look to the mare, landing a few feet away from her. Helios prided himself in being polite and kind, his mother would be unhappy if he was ever to not be such a gentlemen. His eyes rested in hers, "A charmer you say? My dear Mira I am nothing of the sort, just a God with a sweet tooth for lovely mares, such as yourself."

Mira watched in wonder at the small aerial display, though a faint shadow of envy darkened her face. Must be great to fly like that... While Helios had his back turned, she quickly wiped the thought from her mind and focused on other, happier things.
She sympathized with the God's need to stretch his wings for she often wanted a gallop to work her legs. But today, that feeling of unrest from her wanderlust was not quite as pronounced as before. Nonetheless, she would indulge her limbs with a light trot as she headed towards Helios. She stopped a bit ahead of him and looked back with a flirty grin. "In that case, I'll gladly be your candy."

Helios chuckled to her, how much of a flirt this one was. He was happy to see he could still do this, even after thousands of years. A wink shot towards her and with his sweet voice he said, "Ah, I was hoping I'd get to try. Yet, Dear Mira, tell my why you haven't had a stallion steal you."
This was his greatest amount of poise, he opened his wing and placed it lightly under her chin. He knew how to seduce a mare, but he had trouble settling down with one. She was a beautiful mare, her colors reminded him of the rivers he watched in Olympia. He folded his wings back and flicked his tail, "For you are very beautiful my dear Mira. No stallion has tried for you?"

Mira felt the God's smoldering charms' affect on her again as her knees threaten to give and her face reddening to the point of changing her coat into a new color. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply to calm herself. Her eyes reopened just in time to see Helios gracefully extend his wing towards her and lightly touched her chin. As his golden eyes studied her, the mare returned in kind with her sapphire gaze. It was like looking deep into the sun and all its glory, but without the threat of hurting her eyes.
"It wasn't from a lack of trying," she chuckled softly. "But I never stayed. They wanted a mare to stay by their side for years to come, and I can't do that." Mira lightly stomped a hoof as if to emphasize her point. "I don't want to be confined again." A moment of silence passed before the mare quietly added, "You understand, right? The sun can't stay still."

Her gaze was quite beautiful, Helios had decided in his head as she became flustered. It made him smile wide, she was so precious, so soft, and Zeus would more than likely try to steal her from any stallion that pursued her. How she had no one to catch her fancy, he found odd, but her explinatons caught him for a suprise.
"I do understand" He sighed slightly, he knew this well. He moved from mare to mare, but yet he was quite the romantic. It wasnt as though he meant to, he was easily bored. It was the chase, he loved to chase, but if they were easy to catch, he was bored. "Do you need to speak of something, dear Mira? It sounds as though the past haunts you." He let his frown settle on his face, he wished not to upset her.

The mare shook her head and smiled reassuringly. "It isn't as traumatic as it sounds." Thinking back, her childhood was not at all unpleasant. Sometimes, she believed that things might have been fine if she stayed at home, but one look at the marvelous white stallion with shining gold mane convinced her that she had made the right choice.
"Some run to escape their past; I run to see the world. You see," she continued excitedly, barely giving herself a chance to breath. She felt that there was something grand in her dream, and she enjoyed speaking of it. "I heard all the wonderful tales of King Azreth and the Six and legends and myths. I wanted to see it all for myself. Yet my family back in the northern woods wanted me to stay under the shade of the leaves." Her face darkened a bit as she recalled the heated arguments after she revealed her wish to travel. "So I left." Brushing aside the pang of guilt at having abandoned her kin, she laughed softly, almost wistfully. "That is my story. A little mare who ran away from home."

Helios listened to her, she had wrapped him into her story. He smiled as she spoke and explained all that had been going. He shook his mane, as it grew to become a bother upon his back. The excitement in her voice made the stallion chuckle to himself, was this what he sounded like when he spoke of the sun? His mind took him away for a moment, how the sun made him feel. He only wished he could explain it better to others who asked of him.
The flashy smile was put on, "Not traumatic, but it makes you very brave for doing so." His eyes wandered the skies, "Not many would do what you have done, just to see the world. It takes a brave heart to find the strength to leave the ones you love to become something new and see new things." His voice was low, almost as if he had been lost in his own words.

"Thank you for those kind words," she said in a soft voice. Mira took a step towards Helios and gently rested her forehead on his neck. "They mean a lot to me." She lingered on for a moment before stepping back, ending the moment of intimacy. The look on the God's face made her wonder. Timidly, she asked, "Did you leave something...someone behind too?"

Helios smiled as she said it meant so much to her. He was a little shocked by her resting her head upon him. His eyes grew weary and soft at her touch, as if there was a sadness he could feel through it. He sighed after she took her soft fur away, he wished he had something to say at this point, but in kindness, he wrapped his neck around hers for a moment. When he pulled away he shook his head, "I have yet to find what I am looking for you could say." He closed his eyes quietly, his mind reeling with things he knew little of.
He sometimes wished he had not left the temple of the Gods before the rest, but in the same time, he was happy that he did this. His smile rose again, "Silly things for a God to worry about!" A heartly laugh came out of the saddened God.

It was a pleasant surprise when Helios held her in a brief embrace. Mira felt the warmth of the sun flow over her, but there was a tinge of sorrow, as if the shadow of a rain cloud was drawing near. "I'm sure you'll find it one day," she said, a cheerful smile spreading on her face. Seeing and hearing Helios laugh brought joy to the mare, but something about this one also conjured up the mental image of a darkening sky. "Well, you're among the company of a mortal." Mira mimicked the face of a stern mother and gathered herself up like an angry bird. In a tone of exaggerated seriousness, she lectured, "And having that special 'something' is no tomfoolery here." After a moment of trying to hold that face, the mare started giggling like a little filly, "Wow, I sounded like my mother."

Helios nodded to her respectfully, he smiled happily, "I think I might of found it." His mind shook him to somewhere else, his eyes went to a dreamy state, the thoughts filling his mind. It was odd, feeling this way for him, but it made him happy. Though his brain needed to focus upon the mare he was with, "Ha! You may be a mortal, but goodness you all are so interesting and such." With an ear flick he kept walking, wanting to move along and find more sun. His eyes glittered happily, "Ah! Your mother does sound ratheer lovely if you ask me." He spread his wings once more, "Ahh, parents are quite the wonderful things to have."

Sensing that the gloomy storm cloud of sadness had passed, Mira winked at Helios and teased,"How else do we keep the mighty Gods amused?" Laughing happily to herself, the mare started a light trot to keep pace. She deftly ducked under the stallion's golden wings as he unfolded them, overtaking him in speed for the moment. Her eyes brighten with a childish playfulness as she passed the God. There was no doubt in her mind that Helios can outrun her if he wanted to, but she'd make him work for it. Mira turned and looked back. With excitement in her voice, she asked, "Where are we going?"

Helios began chuckling, he shrugged his shoulders as he thought, "Well, I do rather well, at just enjoying the company of others." His smile placed its usual spot on his face. He didn't have much time to enjoy life as he was always doing his duty. Helios shook his head, laughing rather quietly, in his mind he was a rather dull God. He had no extreme stories of adventures, or of traveling afar, he was just a God quietly watching over the ones who worshiped him. As the mare shot pasted him he laughed, "Where evere you want to, my dear. You know this place better than I."

"Are you sure about that?" Mira questioned with a chuckle. "I only recently got here. Surely you've flown over this land before?" She slowed her steps to a brisk walk as she looked about her surroundings. Green grass of the plains waved in the wind as far as the eye can see. A small glimmer of light dancing on the tall blades caught her attention, and she squinted at the curiosity. "I see something...shiny in the grass." Turning to Helios, she asked, "Shall we investigate?"
