So this is a request for avatar art. I'm pretty sure I can afford any price set by an artist for their work, so I won't bother putting a limit down. Most of you are pretty reasonable when it comes to that, so I'm sure we can work something out once it's done.
And that gets me to the scenario of the art. Obviously I can't pay for every piece put forth, so rather than wasting everyone's time, I'd like, if it's not too much trouble, for those who are interested to post here saying such and give an example of their art. I will then choose the artist I prefer (NOTE: Artists will be chosen not by skill, but by the style of art I prefer, so me not choosing you doesn't mean I think you aren't skilled enough. The fact is, all of you here can draw much better than I can (if I could draw, I wouldn't be paying someone else to do it).

So, for any who do happen to be interested, here is what I would like the art to be:

I would like a full bodied drawing (in color if possible) of my avatar (not busts or 'from the waist up' drawings, though those are nice also), but with a black beret, rather than the current hat.
The beret should be the kind where one portion (on the left side, in the front) is flat and bears and emblem of some sort. If possible, I would like the emblem to be a Sturmtruppen badge.
I would also, if it isn't any trouble, like to see the avatar in a sitting position, on whichever form of seating you find to be most fitting (artistically) for an officer in the trenches of World War I. I would like (again, if not a bother), for the avatar be hunched over, leaning all of his weight on his right elbow, which would be on his right knee, with his arm on that side hanging down in between his legs (which would be spread apart from each other). His left hand should be place on his left knee with the fingers facing his right leg.

Also, while the hair on my avatar is unruly, the hair in the picture should not be so. I would prefer that the hairstyle be right-parted, similar to this fellow, though it should cover about two inches more of the forehead than it does in the photo.

Beyond this, where you put the cigar, be it in his mouth, shirt pocket, or right hand, is entirely up to you. Whichever one you feel looks better is fine with me.

So, any takers?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Barrett's shirt isn't a random open dress shirt, but part of a uniform. I simply picked this shirt in the avatar because it's sleeves are rolled up, as I want Barrett's to be in the picture. The uniform shirt he wears is the M1910 Feldgrau (field grey). Sorry for the confusion if you've already read this.

EDIT #2: Boots and pants. I forgot again. And again I apologize. The pants are simple, as they resemble those in the avatar. The boots, however, do not. The boots I am wearing are the only ones I could afford that don't look stupid with my outfit. The boots I want are the M1866 leather boots.

EDIT #3: Negating Edit #2, now any interested parties may draw my avatar with its current boots. The Dead Korps boots are a nearly perfect match to what I was looking for.
Also, another, in color, picture of the uniform desired in Edit #1 is now included. M1910 Feldgrau. Pants for this uniform are included in this one.
It should also be noted that while the uniform top seems relatively shapeless, it would be held to the form of the wearer either by a belt (as the top would extend fairly far below the waist-line (about mid-thigh level), the harness worn by said soldier, or both.

Woooh, well, I'll try this out maybe. My shops are a bit slow anyway.
Here, have a male sample.
[Right here, bro!]

You have your PMs set to friends only (:

That picture, the line art took around half an hour, and the coloring 45 minutes. I doubt would have spent longer on that picture, but if I had, it would merely have some more detail on the lineart. The coloring would be cleaner, though. That's for sure.
Toxic Pepper paid me 20k for that picture, but it was a free art for a friend. It would probably be around 80-90k. More effort? 100k, ish.

Can do. And more detail and being smoother would be worth both the wait and cost. I'll take the cost for the greater effort. You have yourself a customer, good sir.

Antonia's art is a good style for your avatar. It reminds me of Bill Maudlin's political cartoons. But of course, that's WWII.

I could sketch something up, but this scanner here is EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIL!!! D:

EDIT: I'm also not a fan of charging for my art outside of a shop, so long as my icon or whatever stays in-tact you can have what I make for free. I love challenges and this'll be different from my current work! heart

I LOVE military drawings. Mind if I add an M16A3 in your hands with this?
Here's my DeviantART for examples.

Well it really is a WWI avatar, and a German one at that, so an M16 wouldn't make any sense. But yeah, go ahead and draw it. After I'm done paying another person I should have enough to buy your art (provided the price is 60k or less).
If you really want to put a gun in there, though, a Gewehr '98 would be nice.

Usually whatever the artist thinks is reasonable. It is their time, after all, that I'm asking for. However, if it is too high in relation to the quality of the art I may try and make a deal with them (I have yet to do this with any artist).
At the moment, though, I am unable to afford any art. I have little over 100k, and 40 of it is promised to another artist, with the remaining 60 being reserved as a buffer zone for the yet to be named price of another artist on this page.

I've been saving my gold to pay for my latest piece of requested art, but it's been at least a month since I sent a reminder to the artist saying as much. I haven't gotten a reply thus far, and so if anyone is interested still I will pay for another.
