Ideas Never Die

A Man came up to me
He was homeless, He Was Worthless
In the middle of the street
He was washed up and dead-beat
And yet he said he was blessed

He grabbed me by the collar
His greasy hands, he told me
"I ask for not a dollar but freedom
Belief blinds intelligence but I Can see!"

He told me of the tales and travels
His ragged clothes, how he came to be
He said he spread an idea, without morals
He looked at me
Dead in the eye
"Morals blind the public
And I'd rather die then be one of them
There sick people in there attempt to be free

When their own government deceives them
They follow through; never question
When the few fight
We make a small impression

We'll Be locked away
Never to see light
But we continue to fight and hope
Because although they take everything away
Ideas Never Die."

As He looked at me
I began to see
I decided to take a stand
I commend this man

As He Began to wonder off
I Asked his name
He coughed and said
"My Name Is Anonymous
For We Are Legion;
We are here to help your revolution."
