Drake walked into the training grounds, rolling his right shoulder. He was still a little freaked out about hearing a random disembodied voice, but he figured it was the wind... or a spirit. Either way, thinking about it right now didn't help him at all. He was suppose to meet someone. Was going to have fun with them, or they with him. He found a nice little spot to sit and wait, shaded by one of the ground's massive walls.

Smoke curled its way down to Drake, more sooty than the regular smoke in Industry Town. "Another bore for me to waste my time with?" hissed out an annoyed voice from above. "What shall it be? Sword or gun?"

Drake grinned and stood. He wasn't really surprised at his would-be mentor's appearance, nor the oddity of his... her... its entry. The thing that bothered Drake was that 'it' was naked minus the scales. "Neither. I'm more of a 'shoot fire and acid from your mouth' and 'turn into a dragon' kind of guy. Name's Drake. I'm guessing you're the one Fox Lady wanted me to meet."

He smiled, glad to finally be sent someone he could somewhat enjoy teaching. "The fox lady? The Lady's errand dog?" He chuckled to himself. "I need to know your class and element before we start."

Drake crossed his arms. "Fire and Berserker. So I'm really limited to what I can actually use right now. My body seems to hate using weapons, ranged or melee." He sighed. "Really annoying at times." There was always the amulet around his neck, under his shirt, but no, that really wasn't an option.

His smile grew. He had finally been sent an interesting student. "Then let's begin." He pointed to a smelting furnace laying cold in a corner. "First, aim a Flameburst into that furnace's grating. Drake nodded, then inhaled. He held his breath in for a moment, then shot a small amount fo fire from his mouth towards the point The Pantless One pointed to. He'd experimented with this particular skill every now and then, but never got past the basics. Now that he knew where to store the air, he had an idea and added more energy into his next breath, sucked in a little more, then fired off a long stream of fire. His target was the actual furnace, and he aimed to hit it full on. Which he did, though the flames didn't linger in the stream's wake; he wasn't ready to try that yet."Everyone Has A Wild Side. But it is still good practice for when you can melt metals later on. Let the liquids from the upper rear glands of your mouth collect under your tongue to mix with your saliva. Drake did as he was told, surprised the acid didn't burn his mouth as well. The area hit by his spit sizzled, before the bubbling quickly died out. It did leave a somewhat metalic taste in his mouth, but that too quickly faded.

Drake didn't need much to be able to manipulate his body temperature. He merely focuced on his body heat and added a bit more fire to heat it up. His natural element was fire, and seeing as how he was also a Draconian, it didn't take much.
