This is where the people of Indelca come to worship. It is full of pillars and statues of Tyrel. There are pews surrounding the area. This is Holy Ground to the people of Indelca. They will not take kindly if the church is destroyed.

Jasper Cintere

"So... wanna bear my children?"

Expert | Grandmaster of the Templars | Paladin | Human

As Jasper contemplated the past year he spent in Rykros, he remembered all of the troubles he went through with the rest of the Paladins and Priest he met around the world. They ridiculed him and his ridiculous beliefs, they claimed that Jesus wasn't a son of God, preposterous, right? The beliefs here were odd. Rykros was the name of God here, and Rykros had four children. Grix, was said to be the son of Chaos and Hatred, but he created humans. He is the equivalent of the Devil here, then. Tyral created the skies and the breeze, gave light to the dark world he stood on. Pital created plant life, but she was incredibly gorgeous.

All of these tales grew on Jasper, knowing that this world is very different than Axiom, he complied to the new religion, knowing that they are nearly the same, just told differently. As his respect grew in the world, he formed the Templar Faction, a group of skilled Holy Warrior that fought for peace, justice, and love.

Kneeling down at the Alter at the far end of the Church, Jasper looked up at the Statue of Tyral. He gripped his Necklace and stood up. He spent hours praying already, now it was time to go out and explore the city. He had been putting it off for the past few days since his arrival in the city.

Not knowing where he should be, Yorick ended up at the doors of the church. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been inside and pushed one of the doors open. Quietly, he took a seat near the front of the statue. He decided he was waiting for something, but had no idea what that something was, and choose to blindly wait. He looked up at the statue of Tyrel and felt for some reason that the statue didn't seem right, like there was some kind of a dark haze surrounding it. Which didn't make any sense, it was just a statue, it's not like it was actually connected to the being Tyrel, was it? Maybe it was something to do with that strange dream that drove him back to his homeland. After nearly a minute of staring, the haze vanished, and Yorick began to wonder if it ever was there in the first place. Maybe it was just a figment of his imagination, and the thought made him feel better, less heavy.

Yorick stumbled up onto his feet and started to head for the doors of the church. As he did, Yorick turned back to catch another glimpse of the statue, and for a second it looked completely different. He quickly realized this wasn't conneted with the strange dream... This was his own personal reacurring nightmare. He shivered as he left the church, knowing excatly what the source of the image was, himself.

A mysterious girl with unstained black hair and bottomless black eyes sat erect in the church and staring straight into space. She seemed about fifteen in age with her light, fragile figure, almost like something that could break at any moment. There were others present as well, probably faithful worshipers who were devoted enough to come even when no service was held. The girl, however, wasn't one of the devotees. She was simply Nix, and she simply sat in the Church of Knowledge hoping that maybe some of the knowledge could seep into her memories, as unstained as her hair yet seeming as bottomless as her eyes.

The way Nix held herself was different, not shockingly so, but enough to have others glance at her every now and then after they had stayed long enough. She didn't seem to be in any position of worship, with her body straight yet relaxed and her eyes unfocused. Since arriving almost an hour ago, Nix had not moved a single muscle, simply staring at the one point in space. The only thing on her body that had moved was her hair and clothes. Even then, only because of some outside force like wind. The girl seemed completely oblivious to the glances, she was almost lost in whatever she was looking at. A small, strange smile graced the girl's lips. Murmurs of her craziness started to spread, but her hearing and lack of focus let the murmurs go by harmlessly. As she was doing nothing particularly harmful, the murmurs remained murmurs and weren't turned into actions. Nix remained oblivious. If her eyes weren't open, it would have seemed as if she was sleeping.

Actually, talking about sleeping and eyes. Upon close inspection, a very slight hint of a shadow could be seen below the eyes, as if the girl had been sleeping very little the past few nights.

After hours passed, Nix finally moved. She closed her eyes and breathed a regretful sigh. Even sitting in this church of knowledge, she was unable to remember. Save the recent past, there was nothing she knew. The murmurs from the worshippers in the church doubting her sanity continued, and the girl could catch those murmurs. However, she could not make out exact words, nor did she try to. As inexperienced as she was, the girl saw but didn't take the visual hints that the murmurs were about her. Naive, the girl stood up from the pew she was sitting in with a soft smile, oblivious to the harm the outside world was talking about her.

She walked down the aisle in her pure white dress, eyes cast down to the floor and the gentle smile continuing to grace her lips. She wasn't thinking much, despite the posture she held seeming to suggest that she was deep in thought. Rather, she found all the details she could see with her over-sensitive eyes to be too much. She was curious usually, yes, but this time, she just wanted some peace as she walked out of the church. Besides, the ground was plenty detailed to the girl's acute eyes.
