Personality: Mature, proper, studious, intelligent and aware. Like most genjutsu users, Shizu prefers to hold her tongue. When taught in the ways of shinobi, she soon understood that her voice was her one enemy in battle. It was the very thing that threatened to give away her position, something the enemy should never find out. In order to become one of the best illusionary masters around, she sacrificed her childish ways of thinking and was assimilated into a world of silence. She does speak, but it is one or two words at a time, nothing more.
Personal Skill: Powers of deductive reasoning. On the plus side, she surveys situations carefully and plans ahead, warning any allies about the impending doom soon to happen. On the negative side, she reads too much into some situations, and might become paranoid with acquaintances or even her own friends.

Background History:
Born into a family of shinobi, Shizu grew up in Konoha learning of life as a ninja. Like many, she was enrolled into the shinobi academy at the age of 8. Her time was not spent training her body, but molding her mind. She studied all the textbooks at her disposal, and Shizu learned how to utilize the most basic of shinobi elements at a very young age. Her skill was not with weapons, but with the most innate ability to stabilize her chakra under pressure. She wasn't a physical fighter, but her intelligence in the midst of battle was extraordinary. Instead of conquering opponents head-on, she used strategy to lure them in, and set traps to capture them when their guard was down. Seeing that she had potential, her sensei nominated her for the Academy exit exam. Shizu passed it with flying colors.
Three years after graduating, Shizu works hard as a seasoned Genin. She continues to learn illusionary techniques, so she might be more useful in battle. Aside from her studies, the young girl continues to mold her mind in the arts of Genjutsu, so she might be able to protect the village she holds dear.
