What if you switched banks? I know it's a hassle to do, especially with checking accounts, but it's a possibility and probably not as horrible as I'm making it out to be...

Is there any way to ditch SBC and go with a new ISP? I hate to say it, but I've been a lot happier without them.

That's harsh. A company can't go without an internet connection, though. Won't the just find another ISP?
