Its only been 5 months and the system is already about to become $80 cheaper. Most likely a ploy to get sales up with the holidays not too far away and to possibly massacre PS Vita sales. The major factors behind why I didn't get a 3DS were price, battery life & that I really don't like any of the games available right now. The new price is tempting though. How about you guys? Going to get the new cheaper 3DS?

Don't get it until there is are acutally good games for it. Its useless without a good game. It's a good price I know, but it's not going back up because Nintendo needs to make money off of it, because it didn't sell as well as the regular DS. At least that's what I heard

Shindo Kasawaki Don't get it until there is are acutally good games for it. Its useless without a good game. It's a good price I know, but it's not going back up because Nintendo needs to make money off of it, because it didn't sell as well as the regular DS. At least that's what I heard Yeah.. its actually the same price as new DSi XL. Plus there was that big rumor released recently about how Nintendo may be redesigning the system altogether meaning these current 3DS models will be outdated and perhaps even abandoned in 2012.

Plus, with a decent internet browser, free to play games (including 10 NES classics on their way) and Netflix I wanna get it FOR SURE. c:
& BTW the battery life isn't that bad. I heard the same thing at first but, I now have three different friend all who play their 3DS daily and they all said it's fine.

i'm going to have to agree with thor on this one also, they plan on releasing a lot of games next year, also it's got a good battery life it just goes quickly if you keep on the 3d like all the time.
