Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but I was wondering how Pokemon powers will play into battle classes exactly? I'm just trying to better understand for my quest character's sake. For the nonce, I was thinking of choosing the Druid class for them. I've not played MMORPGs really, so maybe that's why I'm at such a loss. ^v^;;;

Basically it affects a chara's strengths and weaknesses, and will very likely be implemented in the battle system after I kicks the kinks out of the current one. Like if it's their specialty area, they'll have a chance of landing a stronger attack. Works the same vice versa, and types will also still affect how much damage is received etc.
Most of the effect will be within the battle system, but otherwise it just affects your chara's preferred magic and their strength in it.
