... but maybe it's just, like, a friend-date and I'm looking into things too much. But hey -- making progress on the dating scene!
Like I posted in LSG in the last 24 hours, I signed up for OkCupid and have sent a few message around rather than wait for folks to come to me. Results have been better than expected! Got three responses, two inconsistent and one who seemed genuinely interested and just lives up in Tacoma, so we're gonna hang out on Monday.
She plays rugby (dyke) and invited me to game I said I couldn't make, so she said, "I have the day off on Monday, so depending on where you wanna hang out, we should!" She also referred to me as "hotness," sooo I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm gonna take a cheap bus up to Tacoma Community College and meet her there. I'm interested to see how it turns out!
HOW DO YOU GUYS MAKE WITH THE DATING, YES.

since you've been talking about it i made an account on this okcupid whatsit. WHAT DID YOU MAKE ME DO CAIT? less than 24 hours, 11 random messages. i have managed to find england's answer to scott and a 39-year-old married man who wants to meet up. creepers galore. and it's so stressful. wtf.
EDIT: I also find it hilarious looking through people's question answers when it's like "WHICH WORD IS WRONG?" and they chose 'separate' and because i put 'definate' it's an UNACCEPTABLE answer. LOLOLOL. also the wherefore in romeo and juliet one. "it's where, all other answers are AN INSULT TO MY INTELLECT." no, moron it's why. neutral
sounds like it's working for you though, congrats have fun~

It was a really beautiful day and she was really cool, but she didn't seem interested in a relationship whatsoever, and that's fine. Puts s**t into perspective when you get home from a date and are thinking about somebody else.
