i can't listen to it without crying. i think i could be in the happiest mood and listening to it would just make me start bawling. what about you? and what's your favorite song by the cure? Favorite Cure song is tough, haha.
"Disintegration" would probably be my most favorite too though. Oddly enough, it's the only "long" song in the world I don't get sick of listening through from beginning to end, ever.
Close contenders are "A Night Like This", "Lullaby" and especially, "All Cats Are Grey."

The whole damn a** album is depressing, I mean I adore it, but I think that's the kinda place Robert was at when he wrote it.
Personally, Im not sure I can say anymore what my favorite song is, it keeps changing. Though the mushy little girl in me will always adore Lovesong. heart

I dont know weither we're talking about the album or the song. The album is a masterpiece with only 1 bad song (homesick) and the song is probably the best on there up with Picture of You and Plainsong

Disentigration is my favorite album i have heard. I thought its a calming cd, i dont think its depressing at all. My favorite song though is "From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea" on the album Wish

Oh man, the whole album Disintegration is in my mind perhaps the saddest album I own. I love it, though; it's my favourite album by The Cure. It's so beautiful & soft & lovely & touches me so much.
Favourite song by The Cure:

Long[er] answer: "From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea", the whole album Disintegration, "Boys Don't Cry", "Open", "A Letter to Elise", "Watching Me Fall", & "Bloodflowers".

I love the whole album, and my favourite from it would be close between Pictures of you and disintegration itself. And closedown... and.... a lot of the songs on it. Its one of the best albums ever ^_^
