Kokoro chuckled a bit, "Then I guess it's a good thing I came along isn't it. Now you have a reason to go out more. Though it's nice that your mum can make you smile."

Victor paused, feeling the dirt underneath his paw, and a smile broke out on his features, "I know where we are now... Funny, isn't it, getting around by feeling?"

"Was it difficult at first? Learning to I mean..." Kokoro was curious about him. She wanted to know what he was like, what he liked and what he didn't. He was so cheerful she hadn't even noticed his blindness when they met. She wanted to know more about this man who's personality shone out above everything else.

Victor smiled, "It was harder when I was younger, but I'm used to the trial-and-error that comes with it now. My mother has a hereditary gene of blindness, so most of the noodles descended from her have it. There's me, my half-sister and half-brothers, my nephew, and I won't know if any of my nephew's kids have it until they grow..."

Kokoro nodded smiling, "I figure your mother did her best to help you with it. You don't seemed to be bothered at all by your blindness."
Her smile brightened, "In fact I didn't know you were blind until you mentioned it."

He nodded, "I normally don't bring it up unless I have to.. I don't want people to worry about me when it isn't necessary... And my mother is actually the worrying type, after my half-siblings were born, she was scared to have more children with her mate, my dad."

"That's not something I'd be worried about. I mean having children is a gift, if they're born blind it just gives them something to help them grow as a person." Kokoro said, her smile softening.
"Don't you think? I mean you turned out pretty awesome, right?"

Kokoro giggled at him sticking out his tongue and she bumped him lightly, "Thank you."
"So your mother's a worrier?" She swished her tail as they talked, happy.

He chuckled lightly, flicking an ear, "Always. I don't think I can imagine a time when she wasn't." He paused, nudging her with a paw, "So, miss social, you seem to be doing pretty well with someone like me... Are you sure you're not used to company?"

Kokoro blushed deeply at him, "I'm sure of it... I haven't talked to anyone but you. I don't know why but with you I didn't hesitate to speak."
She stopped as they were in front of the shop, frowning lightly. "We've reached it already?"

Victor nodded lightly, pointing his nose towards the shop, "Ah, I guess we have...." He couldn't avoid the feeling in his gut that he was forgetting something in all the talking that had been going on, but he shrugged it off and turned back to Kokoro, "Well, anyway... All you really need to do is relax. You're... quite the likable type." He cleared his throat, trying to avoid embarrassment in the form of pink cheeks and failing miserably. Shaking it off, he quickly started walking again, that brief moment making him stop.

"Thank you..." Kokoro blushed again at his complement.
"Wait..." She ran froward as he started walking again and stood in front of him. She put her head against his and nuzzled him lightly. "Goodbye Victor..."
She pulled away blushing again and coughed lightly. "Don't forget to call, okay?"

Victor was caught off-guard, and his breath caught in his throat. "You don't say... goodbye... more like, see you later..." His voice squeaked and he quickly cleared it, risking a bold move and nuzzling her back before brushing by. A few steps away and he tilted his head back in her direction, a soft smirk crossing his features, "Forget? Me? I don't think so."
