He nodded to himself as Abaddon got up from the bed and took Rivkah's hand as gently as he could. He looked for the clearest path and guided her through it, while his mind slowly filled with odd emotions and half-forgotten memories. His eyes kept jumping around, sometimes on Rivkah, more often on the numerous amounts of stuff. It was like the house he shared With The Old Man. But that was so long ago, he could barely remember it.

Eventually they reached the main door, and Abaddon let go of Rivkah's hand, though with unexpected reluctance. "So... Where should we go? I've... been sleeping in a large tree somewhere over that way the past few days." He confessed as he looked back at Rivkah.

“I have foreseen your destruction.”

Rivkah was touched at the care he took when holding her hand, leading her through the home with such great care. A frown appeared when he let her hand go, but that was inconsequential. She 'looked' over to Abaddon, thinking it through. "Well, I have been sleeping in a circle of thorn bushes down on the ground... so I dont really have much of a place to go." 'I never have' She thought bitterly. "This is the first time I have been up here... I have been living off berries for the most part," A soft laugh escaped her lips, as her stomach let out an almost inaudible growl, as if to protest the lack of substantial food.

"The dead shall rise. Then you will fall,"

(No format right now, I'm on my phone. : S)

"You're a bad liar, y'know," Roxanne muttered, though it was loud enough for both to hear. "What the girl means to say is that the man on the bed -- Raphael -- drove the "demon" off by... hm, I dunno... impulse? It was an impulse to attack you. An impulse to kill you. An impulse to kick you, cut you, stab you, impale you, drill you, and to erase you. But for fear of his own image... I guess he suppressed those impulses, replacing them with the impulse to act sweet and innocent. So, Abbadon. One of your brethren rests his body upon the bed. He is evil, and will just try, over and over, to kill you again and again. Such is the truth of your race; there is room for only one destroyer. Now who will it be...?" The girl found it rather amusing that Rivkah would lie to him to prevent conflict, even though, for a time, Raphael was vulnerable and could have been killed. That opportunity, however, was beginning to disappear, and she wondered... how Abbadon would react. "Well, he certainly has the temper to fit the blood. How adorable. I wonder if I could... ugh, those days are over, it seems. Being bound to either a sword or a male body sucks. Eh, I guess that hasn't stopped Raph-y. Pity to me for being so weak of heart."

Abaddon couldn't help but laugh a little at the sound of Rivkah's tummy rumbling, even if it was so quiet he could still hear it. "There's plenty of everything being sold in the Marketplace, I'm sure we could find you a cheap stall of some kind." After thinking about what it must be like leaving off of the wild, Abaddon started patting around his body to make sure he still had the coin pouches he'd stashed in various secret pockets of his clothing. "And I'll buy if need be." He said as scanned for the easiest route to the Marketplace.

(I can't edit right now, but my post has, in terms of actual effect, been changed. Please regard all talk as Raphael talking and not her, and please edit your post. Also, can you please not just ignore me like that again? That's extremely, extremely rude.)

“I have foreseen your destruction.”

Rivkah scowled at Abaddon as he laughed, though the look softened as he mentioned food and the possibility of him buying. There was no money in her parcel. There had never been a coin to hold against her name, living off what she could find and what she could steal. So the prospect of real food was something that filled her with a small burst of warmth.

"You would really do that for me?" She asked, her warmth coming out in her voice. He was by far the kindest man she had met, even given his nature, what he was seemed to have no clear effect on who he was.

Abaddon couldn't help but grin as Rivkah had started warming up to him. "Sure, I don't think I have any reason not to." He teased as he started to walk towards the Marketplace. But stopped before he really got moving and back stepped towards Rivkah. "Are you gonna be okay following me or should I being guiding you along the way?" He asked with a hint of shyness in his voice. His mind again was filled with odd and mixed emotions, some entirely new to him.

Rivkah could feel Abaddon move off, stop, and back track. SHe nodded once. "If it is not too much of a hassle... would you let me hold onto your arm, its much easier that way," She blinked slowly, waiting for his response. She could hear the shyness in his voice and wondered if he would refuse. For some reason, she just new that it would hurt somewhat if he denied her the request.

(Can you at least not try to act like a huge p***k? You do know that I went against what my character would've done in that situation to make you two happy, right? In reality, he would've killed both of your characters without hesitation. You're acting in a way that's extremely uncalled for, 'cause I haven't done s**t to you and you're just acting mean for no reason, despite me being nice in not making Raphael do what he WOULD've done, and despite my horrible mood.)

Abaddon stepped back once more so he was next to Rivkah and carefully held out his arm for her to take. He scanned the way towards the Marketplace, and made quick changes to potential path, but for some reason his thoughts kept getting muddled and couldn't think very well. It didn't help that he kept feeling the need to steal glances at Rivkah every other second or so.

“I have foreseen your destruction.”

Rivkah moved her arm up and curled it around his, her fingertips coming to rest at the base of his wrist. It felt nice to be with someone so caring and thoughtful. "Lets get going then, I could eat a horse," laughter flowing through her voice, making it clear she was joking. Her other hand clutched her package tightly to her chest. At that moment, part of her wished she could see her new friend, her first friend. She knew she never could though.

Abaddon started slowly, unsure of what kind of pace Rivkah was used to. Eventually he did speed up a little, but kept his eye one her while at the same time constantly checking every point of the path ahead. Thankfully it wasn't to crowded yet, but he knew things would change in the market place. "It's probably going to be hard to move once we get into the Marketplace, I'm sure you can hear why." Abaddon said, referring to the screams and shouts of countless merchants, and the equally as loud replies from the sea of customers.

“I have foreseen your destruction.”

Rivkah nodded with a smile. "That may be so, but I can at least see when its crowded. There is a defined space in which I can move. Here, with so few people, there are very few energy signatures that I can mark an area with." Even though she said this, she clung a little tighter to Abaddon as they entered the Marketplace.

XXX Accepting humanity is accepting mortality. In the beginning, before you were even conceived, it was already decided that you were to die.
XXXXSo what does it matter... if I am the one to bring about your fate?

''Mmm... I'm getting out of here. I'm tired of sitting around, waiting for people to come around. The quiet life just doesn't do it for me. I need a thrill. Does anyone... know where I can find one?" Glabbing Roxanne from its holstered position on the floor, he slumped it over his back as he walked away. Sprouting wings from behind, finally, eventually, he took to the skies and headed for the citadel. (exit)
