many things seem inviting but there are often negatives about them
while sposedly bad things can have a silver lining.
for instance, i could move to Baltimore.
closer to concerts, shops, museums, and you can still receive free broadcast tv (which we cannot receive up in out piney woods)
BUT!
the air is not so good
it is much hotter and more humid than i like
i have no friends there
so do you have examples of your own?

I could move in with my friends while we go to college together.
Pros-
less money paid for rent per person
always have someone around to do fun stuff with
share chores
Cons-
we could drive each other crazy
less privacy

I do not make pro/con lists. Major decisions are made on a whim most of the time.
I am fortunate I am satisfied with the status quo in my life, because otherwise my existence would just be a streak of rash decisions.

I could spend even more money to take a plane down to Denver so I could do all the s**t next weekend that I was waiting for a year to do before my car got wrecked.
But then I would be out even more money and my savings are looking a little sickly.

Oh yeah, everything's fine. I lucked out. No injuries. Had it been slightly different circumstances it would have been much more disastrous. Instead the only problem was that I didn't have a car for two and a half months, and I am still waiting for it to be finished, so I can go back home.

thank heaven.
i was in Colorado last summer, and some of those roads are not the sort one would care to have a car wreck on.
they might find your remains miles down the side of some sheer cliff face.
