ever seen it? it's got some good info (just like the other ones - which are also full of some disinfo), but BEWARE, the entire concept of a utopian world is just to bring forth the NWO. you give away your rights and freedoms to someone who promises you such a thing and you will be enslaved by them. you must know a utopia world can never be achieved without massive depopulation (and don't for one second think that you are safe). the movie is a bait and switch. give the truthers some good info and then brainwash them into accepting the new world order.
I actually hadn't finished the movie when i wrote that above. turns out the last segment (2:31:00 and on) of the movie is real bullshit. People protesting in massive ammounts resulted in the controlers giving up. That would NEVER happen even if the protests were violent. It would be a perfect bullseye to gather all the people who don't want to be controled, in one spot at once. It would be the perfect opportunity to cull the "movement". This movement is a hedge, by the ones who want global control. Further proof of this is the scene where protestors withdraws their money out of the banks just to give it back to the central world bank (they didn't even burn it!). That's exactly what the zionists (who own everything) want. This way they would siphon the general public's money out of their pockets, just to reinvest it back into improving other controlling systems around the globe. This movie doesn't even explain how the "utopian" world was achieved. Especially with no financial backing. I mean what the ******** did people eat after they gave away their money? They must have licked the pavement, litteraly.

The Zeitguist films I've seen are in exact opposition of the NWO the banking and oil cartels want to create... :/
They base the idea of that utopian Venus Project society off of the same concepts as the internet itself. An anarchist society self sustainable and self replicating utilizing as many infinite resources that can be duplicated for nothing to produce food and energy. The expense is a world without money, no dollars, no gold, and no real ownership of anything. Just you, your space, and your resources that you use within that space.
I proposed to the Venus Project that there will need to be a revised constitution in order to preserve the integrity of such a society in which case gives citizens the supreme power of governance over any local, state, federal, or international government or business. And I was detailed enough to note the importance of having one that includes the future including the possibility of encountering monetary based alien societies whether visited by them or we visit them.

I wouldn't mind giving up practical ownership and destroying our monetary system completely if it meant people sharing and peace existing. But the problem is--as you said (just worded differently)--utopia cannot be acheived without a cost that few are willing to pay. Even if it could be acheived, sooner or later, someone would take advantage of the system. Humanity keeps having the same patterns repeated over and over again.

I think the Venus Project underestimates human greed.

Wasn't Z-day the day that they played the propagandist film around several campuses?
I try warning people against this collection of films since, as a teenager, I too was fooled by it.
