The Great Naruto Bridge

The Great Naruto Bridge (なると大橋, Naruto Ōhashi) is a long, wide bridge that was built and completed by an architect named Tazuna in the Land of Waves. The bridge was built to connect the Land of Waves to the Land of Fire, thus freeing the country from vicious trade monopolies which choked the small island community's citizens. The bridge was named after a rather famous Konohagakure ninja named Naruto Uzumaki, who long ago was part of a mission to defend the architect from assassins.
After the bridge was completed, the two lands were linked and the Land of Waves was made prosperous once again. The waters beneath the bridge are famous for their constant and incredibly strong whirlpools, but thanks to incredible craftsmanship, the bridge stands strong amidst them and has remained sturdy ever since it was built.
