It had almost been a month.
A month too long in Rajih's fevered mind but at the same time, he had done this to himself for a reason. Hunger had gnawed at him forever, beginning as a tremble in his stomach to the shakes in his body. He couldn't look at a witch without devouring their magic just with eye contact. Without touching them, he couldn't siphon his magic to fill him. Without magic to sate the hunger, he had fallen, fallen into the state he referred to as his Ravage. The next witch, whether willing or not was going to be his dinner to fill him.
And in his fevered mind, and fevered body he walked through empty hallways. Of course the dorms and hallways were empty, it was late at night after all. Why did the worst things happen late at night? Was it because the quiet serenity of Night had to be disturbed with that of something horrific and horrible? Was it the dark that scared people? It didn't really matter as his hunger lust raged inside him, his body ached and felt used. Like he had worked out for days and days without actually doing anything physical. he had been so scared that he would devour a student, that he had locked himself in his room for a week, only surfacing now, when he couldn't take it any longer.
Wrapping his arms around his chest, he fell back against one of the school's main building walls before sliding down it, a pitiful mess of hunger and anguish as he shivered from the sheer lack of food.
"Somebody..." Rajih whispered as he started to imagine a student, had he gone made? Was he so desperate that his magic was deluding his mind? A figure formed in his lust filled eyes, that of a young female....witch. His mind was even deluding his senses, he could smell the human from where he was and she smelt delicious, his mind had definitely come up with a perfect hallucination fantasy, funny he never had those magic skills.

Riba should not have drunk so much water before toddling off to bed. She hadn’t explicitly planned to down such an amount, but she had offered to assist a friend in hunting down a list of ingredients for a cake. When sweets were involved, how could Riba refuse? As a result, the two girls spent most of the entire and part of the evening chasing around town for the specific ingredients required. Never had she run such large distances for an extended period of time. Exhausted beyond belief, Riba found herself gorging down bottle after bottle of water. On the bright side, the blue-haired girl would receive a large slice of delicious cake tomorrow morning.
And now she had to pee, very badly. Lips pursed, she threw back the bed covers and slipped out, her bare feet touching the cool floor. Riba paused, squinting her eyes as her vision slowly acclimated to the darkness. She rubbed her bare arms. For a moment, she considered donning a jacket—she was only wearing a tank top and shorts, after all, but decided against. A bathroom trip wouldn’t take that long. Plus, almost no one wandered the halls at night.
Once she could see the delineated shadows of furniture and doors, she left her room. She kept her footsteps as quiet as possible as she wandered the halls for the bathroom. Riba knew where the bathroom was, but the night made the entire school grounds transform into someplace different—it was the same, but not the same—but at least she found it.
“Haaa~ Tha’s so much better!” She walked out of a stall and over to a sink to wash her hands. Riba looked up to peer at her reflection, dark blue from the darkness. Curiously, Riba cocked her head to the side before exiting the restroom.
She should have gone back to her room, but a whisper caught her attention. Riba stared down the hallway and found someone leaning against the wall. “’ey, are ya okay?” she asked in a quiet voice as she slowly walked toward the stranger. By the looks of it, he appeared to be a fellow student, which gave Riba no reason to be wary of him. She leaned down, offering a hand out to him. “Are ya sick? Do ya need help?”

Rajih's blood ran cold as she came forward, a young witchling like himself cleared his lust fog and currently dazed like mind. She was, as most of the students who seemed to go here, A beauty. Raven black hair with the front mixed into a Neon robin's blue that matched her eyes, loosly floated around. She was dressed in only what Rajih would think of her pajamas as it was that time of the night.
When she offered her hand, Rajih took it....and then pulled her down so that she fell perfectly into her lap. His hunger siphoned magic almost immediately, a small amount that had his willpower truly being tested. He didn't smile at her, brooding green eyes bore into hers as he debated just how to intake the massive amount of magic he wanted...needed....craved.
His hand, oddly stronger kept her at bay in his lap as the other one ran across her cheek to the back of her neck, pressing lightly on the little triangle where her spine and head connected forward.
"Stay still...." He commanded as he roughly laid his mouth on her, He could feel the massive amount of magic he wanted so badly start as a trickle. When he changed the angle of the siphoning kiss, it slowly opened more magic to him before a dam broke and he could feel the huge amounts pumping into him. "Mmmm......Delicious." He pushed her off his lap with his mouth still fused and turned them, roughly pushing her so that he could sandwich her between the wall and himself and helped himself to her magic, despite whatever her struggles, and despite his twisted morals. To anyone else it would look like students getting familiar with each other, and that was how it was. Rajih was after all taking her magic into him.
It wasn't long until he could feel a somewhat more filling feeling in his body, but despite that feeling, his body craved more. He was pressing her so intimately into the wall he could feel her body pressed into his. And yet, the sweetheart of Rajih was gone, and felt only one thing, magic flowed into his body, filling him and intoxicating him.
Take it, Take it.
Take her witches heart!!!!!
The need, the pure rush of that instinct had overwhelmed him and he pulled back from her, breath heavy as he tried to clear the fog of his feeding, Staring at her with brooding green eyes. In no doubt, he had taken enough magic to almost drain her for a couple days and at this moment, probably enough to weaken her from walking.

Riba wasn’t sure what to expect from the apparently ill student. At the moment, she was more focused on the lad’s wellbeing rather than the unusual circumstance she found herself in—wandering the empty halls at night and stumbling upon a stranger, looking like he was in pain as he leaned against the wall—but she certainly did not believe that he would pull her down. She had assumed he was weak rather than perfectly capable of tugging her toward him. Perhaps if she had not let her guard down she could have resisted, but this time she easily fell forward.
“’ey! What’re ya doin’?!” she yelped as she collapsed into his lap. Startled, she confusedly held onto his shoulders as her eyes frantically went left, right, up, down, before settling on his green eyes. Already Riba could feel her cheeks flushed with heat as his hand caressed his cheek and ran down to the back of her neck. Back in Clarus Arbor she had rarely interacted with others, particularly boys. She had been far too busy assisting her parents in running the restaurant or tending to the farm.
Confused at his demand, she furrowed her eyebrows and spoke up again, “Jus’ what’re ya—“ Before she was able to complete her sentence, he placed his lips on hers, stunning the baffled witch. Being kissed was a rather odd sensation, Riba idly noted, but as an afterthought added that perhaps she could grow used to it—with the right person. She shuddered as she felt her body suddenly grow weak. What was happening? S-Stop…! She attempted to push him away, but it was too late. Riba was beginning to lack the energy to escape and all she could do was helplessly sit in his lap.
Their mouths briefly disconnected for him to mumble something, but her mind was too frazzled to register it. “Wha—“ He kissed again, this time turning their body so they switched places, Riba helplessly pressed against the wall. She again tried to break away from his grasp, but the longer the kiss ran the more exhausted Riba felt. Eventually, her grip on him loosened and her arms limply fell to her sides as she reluctantly submitted herself to the draining kiss.
When he finally stopped, Riba did not realize it at first. Her thoughts and senses had become muddled. “I—What…?” was all that managed to come out her mouth as half-lidded eyes blankly peered at Rajih. She blinked and squeezed her eyes shut as she attempted to re-orient herself. Although she tried to stand up, her legs and arms gave way halfway through and she fell back. “So tired,” she grumbled, gently placing a hand to her forehead. Riba looked up at him, tilting her head as she examined him. Had she seen him in class before?

Rajih had only stared at her for brief moments before looking to her swollen lips where he had absorbed her magic from. Cocking his head, The lust of hunger, fully sated disappeared and had him come crashing back down at the consequences of his hunger.
"Ah, Holy crap!" Rajih felt her neck for a pulse to make sure he hadn't taken enough to put her in a coma before checking her eyes and her breathing. Everything seemed alright besides the horrible revelation that he had almost sucked her magic dry and almost succumbed to eating her witches heart.
"Hey, Hey are you alright girl?" Rajih thought that was a stupid question but in the current situation, he just wanted to make sure she was alive enough to speak. When she mumbled something out, he took that as incentive to lift her up, taking her smaller form in his to carry bridal style, quickly deciding the only safe place to take her so late at night was his own dorm room. "Oh lord, what have I done to you!" He rushed back to his dorm, setting her gently on his bed before running out again.
A few moments later he returned with water and some bread, pilfered from the boy's cupboards before coming to stand at her side. "Ah crap man, What do I do?" Rajih paced his room, debating if he should call Phil here, maybe he would have some answers as to what Rajih should do. Or, no. Worse case scenario, Phil came here, saw the weakened girl laying on his bed and realized that Rajih was in fact no better then a witch eater themselves. Phil would hate him. His fist clenched over his heart as he thought of what happened if Phil, his first real friend hated him and choked out a breath. No he couldn't call anyone for help. He needed to handle this by himself.
"Hey Girlie? Are you okay enough to speak? What's your name darling?" Rajih had opted to get her a cold wash cloth as well, placing it on her forehead. For all he knew, absorbing her magic could be like absorbing blood or something, making the body much weaker.

She could only vaguely register his touch as he anxiously pressed his fingers against her neck to examine her pulse. Compared to her rather cool body, the boy’s touch felt quite warm and comforting. Riba attempted to weakly reach for his hand, but found herself to be too darn tired to do anything else but keep sitting up and strain to regain her energy.
“Alright?” Riba repeated dumbly, eyelids half open as she struggled to keep them open. “Maybe. I guess? Dunno…Kinda tired.” She mumbled, not once complaining when Rajih scooped her into his arms. Normally, she would have squealed or frantically demand him to put her down—even a rude, sudden dropping would have sufficed, she was more used to doing things herself. If anything, she was the one who carried, not the other way around. Silently, she rested her head against his chest as he carried her to who knew where.
As soon as he placed her on a bed, Riba groaned and immediately rolled over onto one of her sides. She draped an arm across her eyes for a brief rest. Without someone sucking away at her energy, she surprisingly found herself regaining her strength with each passing second. Carefully, she cracked open her eyes and peered above her arms as Rajih returned with water and bread. A hand instinctively covered her stomach at the sight of refreshments while the other graciously reached for the food and drink. “Dunno.” She vaguely answered his question as she slowly sat back up and daintily nibbled on the bread. Although still tired, Riba managed to observe that—what a shocker—she was not in her room, but presumably Rajih’s.
“Girlie? Riba. Name’s Riba.” As soon as she swallowed, she childishly puffed out her cheeks for a brief second. Being referred to as ‘girlie’ did not bode well with the female witchling. He set a cool wash cloth on her forehead and Riba shuddered. She quickly reached up to push away the cloth, but groaned when she felt a sharp headache setting in. Mutely, she squeezed her eyes shut and fell back. “Ugh. Who. Who’re ya?” She paused. “What’d ya do...to me?"

"Of course you tired." Rajih waved his hands frantically before taking her to his room. He continued to watch over her carefully as she began to slowly regain some strength. What a quick recovery, Rajih thought before sighing in relief. He didn't want to have to hide Riba in his room away from everyone else, like a dirty little secret when in fact, him being a majin was a secret.
"Nice to meet you Riba..uh, considering the circumstances." He nodded his head before cocking his head, did he tell her the truth? He had siphoned magic from her, so he owed her that at least. Then again, she could turn on him and turn against him. Debating on the options, he shrugged. If anything, he would leave the academy and make his way somewhere else in the world. "My names Rajih, I'm a uh....Majin witchling for the Academy." He paced by his bed, still watching her intently. "I..." He laced his fingers together and bit his lip before sighing. "I got hungry, I've been trying to see how long I can go without feeding off magic from somebody. Guess a month's my limit." He started to mumble to himself before sighing again. "You've heard about the Majin right? We're being different then you Humans, we need your magic to sustain us." He rubbed his eyes as he thought of the best way to tell her, "What I did, in a desperate need to feed was take huge amounts of magic from you." He hung his head in shame, "I'm sorry, I've been trying really hard not to take magic from the witchlings around here, but with all the magic in the air, its like tempting a lion with steak." He finished lamely before looking at her again, "Are you sure your alright? I took a lot of magic from you, you seem to recover fast but...you still feel a lot of the side effects right?" he reached over to touch her fore head again, brushing it gently, sincere concern marred his face.

Rajih. She mutely nodded as she silently filed his name away, though Riba had a feeling she would have a difficult time recalling it the next time they happened to meet. Her mind was fairly clear, but at the moment the frustrating headache made processing certain things harder than it should be. She hissed as she squeezed her eyes shut, her hands blanketing the upper half of her face as she fought down the pain in her head. “W-Wha…? Majin?” she repeated the term as she blindly reached out for the cup of water. Her hand managed to grip the container and she gently brought it to her lips before putting it back.
“Majin…” The word was unique, but definitely familiar. Riba furrowed her brows as she forced her brain to recall forgotten information, but his explanation brought forth bits and pieces. “Ya. I kinda ‘member that.” She mumbled, lowering her hand to peek at Rajih as he continued to speak. The witchling continued to slowly drink water as she patiently listened to the boy talk and processed his story.
She couldn’t stop herself from softly smiling at his apology. “S’fine. Ya did good, for holdin’ out for so long.” If she remembered correctly, humans like her generally weren’t that receptive toward majin. It made sense, but he seemed so human, emotions and all. Riba refused to see him as a cruel creature that sucked out magic.
Rajih reached over to brush her forehead and she flinched. Eyes wide, Riba hastily pushed his hand away with her own. She felt her cheeks heating up and she rolled over to her side so her back faced him. “Dun worry ‘bout me. I’ve always had good health. I’ll be up an’ ‘round in no time. Yup.”

Rajih watched carefully for her reaction about the Majin and sighed in relief. Whether it was to her reluctance or because she was still tired, she wasn't quite yet connecting the fact that she had just lost a lot of her magic to a very hunger vampiric soul. Majin, what the hell man.
"Yeah Majin, We're figments of a wish that made us whole...or something like that." Rajih muttered as he continued his careful inspection of her. "I would be surprised if you didn't remember anything at all, after all, Our kind is hated by humans like you. Though I understand that part, after all I did take large amounts of magic from you and left you in this state." Rajih sighed, he had really done it now.
"Ah?" Rajih looked up at her before looking away, "It's not good, only a month before I went berserk? How could that possibly be any good." Rajih shook his head at her soft apology before sighing again. She was being kind to him, he needed to do the same. "Thank you though."
When his hand brushed on her forehead, her quick reaction to slap his hand away had him staring at her. Surprise and hurt flashed before his eye's took a cold look to them and he nodded his head. She had every right to act like that, He had taken so much, and in the most degrading way for a girl at least.
"I'm sorry again, If your sure your feeling better, I can't take you back to your room-" and never see you again so that you won't be afraid of me. Rajih ducked his head, how was it that he felt so bad and justified at the same time. Maybe Phil was wrong, Humans and Majins living a like? It was starting to look bleak for the majin in question now.

Perhaps Riba was simply too naïve and kind for her own good. What would have happened if he had somehow consumed all of her energy? What would have happened then? Would she have died? Was the task even feasible? Here she was, casually conversing with something not human—something different and potentially dangerous—as if he was a fellow human.
“Fragments of a wish…” she murmured the phrase to herself, testing out the words for familiarity. A faint bell rang in her mind, but nothing resurfaced—no memories, no fragmented facts. “Ya’ll a bunch of mysterious fellows. Ya know that?” Riba frowned, squeezing her eyes closed. “I come from Clarus Arbor. I’s a quiet place. Stories of Majin dun really circulate well in my area.” She paused to ruminate over Rajih’s words. “Ya seem like a good kid.” Riba spoke softly, unsure if he would believe her or not.
“A-A month is better than a week! Or a few days! Better than nothin’…” She bit her bottom lip as she imagined his face. Was it shocked? Was it angry? Riba held in the temptation to shout. “I’m feelin’ better.” She reached out for the bed’s edge. Hands grasping the bed sheets, Riba breathed deeply before easing her legs over to the side and rising to her feet. “That’d be nice, if ya could take me back. Dunno where I am at the moment and all.”
Shyly, she turned her head just enough to glance at Rajih. “If ya need help…I dun mind. Helping ya, I mean.”

Rajih was sure he could see the hesitation and fear in her eyes. Or perhaps it was her nativity and pure kindness. It was too early in the game and meeting for him to judge her completely though and he didn't want to start of a potential friendship with her based of assuming. Nor did he want her to fear him because she assumed that he was a monster for being the race that he was.
"Yeah fragments of a wish. We wished so strongly that we were granted a life to live again so that we could fulfill our wish." He stared at her and then laughed, regardless of their situation, "Mysterious even to ourselves. Yeah you hit that on the nail Riba." He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye and smiled at her, "That's not surprising after all, you are from a smaller town. Though I think it would be you guys the most knowledgeable of them all, I hear Claus Arbor is pretty big hunting ground for the more sinister race of kind, The witch eaters." He blushed at her words before looking down, "You don't have to say that, I mean I still took a lot of your magic after all." Rajih looked away from her and shrugged, "Thanks though."
"But it's not long enough still." Rajih shrugged again and patted her head, "It's different for us then you. Our hunger is worst then that of a Human's after all. One day I will get this under control." He watched with surprise as she swung her legs over and got up from the bed. "Whoa be careful don't strain yourself if you don't have to!" He got up worried before blushing, she was so calm about this, What was with this girl after all?
"Oh right, back to your room, It would be better for you to get rest there after all. Kinda of weird to be in a boys room and all...uh...hold on..." He ran out of the room to grab a jacket before wrapping it around her, seeing as she was still in her pajamas like he was. "Okay well, what room are you? I'll take you all the way." He opened his door before offering his arm for him to hold on to, jut in case she wasn't a hundred percent alright.
"Eh? Help me with what?" He looked at her before blushing again, did she mean feeding off her? He couldn't do that after all, "If its about feeding don't worry about it. I'll have the hunger under control and you probably won't remember me after tonight anyways." He mumbled the last part to himself.

Fragments of a wish. The concept was so abstract to her. A wish that wished so earnestly that it grew into a majin, a sentient being, for the sake of achieving that goal. It was almost like making something from nothing. “Almost sounds like a fairytale—an object turnin’ into a human bein’ because it wanted to so badly.” Rajih reached up to wipe something away from his eye, and Riba realized that it was a lone tear. Her lips curled into a sad frown as she tilted her head. Rajih, please dun cry. She wanted to reach out, comfort him somehow—and for a second she really did lift an arm to try and place a reassuring hand on his shoulder, but stopped herself midway.
“Witch eaters.” A spark of recognition flashed across her face. They were majin who ate the hearts of witches—just like what their name implied. A hand reflexively reached up to cover her heart. “Ya ain’t gonna turn into a witch eater, right?” She firmly believed in Rajih—even though this was their first meeting, and even though he had just drained most of her magic. The male witchling didn’t seem like he wanted to turn into a witch eater and was attempting to curb his appetite for magic. “I’m sayin’ it ‘cause I wanna! I mean it.”
She held out her arms to stabilize herself, and fortunately Riba managed to stand her ground. She grinned, craning her neck to look at Rajih. “Dun worry, I told ya I’m really healthy! I’m good when it comes to bouncin’ back quick.” At the mention of ‘boy’s room’ her eyes widened and her cheeks turned bright red. “Ah…yea….boy’s room…”
He ran out of the room, leaving Riba to curiously stare after him before he returned with a jacket. If it was even possible, Riba’s blush deepened as she protectively wrapped the piece of clothing around herself. “Oh, thanks. Uh…I’m a couple hallways away from the restroom, second door on the right.” He offered her his arm to grasp, but she furiously shook her head. “No, no! S’fine. I’m fine.”
“Well, ‘cause I dunno who else knows about yer secret, so if ya need help with stuff ‘bout that, I ain’t gonna mind.” She cast a sideways glance at Rajih, unconvinced at his reassurance. These kinds of things took time. Would he really be able to conquer his hunger in such an amount of time? “Jus’ keep my offer in mind then, ‘kay? …Did ya say somethin’?”

"Well, yeah I guess. It's not like I knew I was a majin though. I was always a "human" till My friend came into his magical power." Rajih stiffened, looking at the girl before looking away to the wall, "It's not a fairytale from where I'm sitting. More like a horror story that just ends badly." He shrugged as he continued to stare at the wall.
"I'm trying not to. But the appeal of it doesn't cross my mind either." He frowned at his words before trying to reorganize them so she didn't think that was what he was after. "The hunger is a very powerful persuasionist. When your left with nothing and that's all you got, a hunger unrelenting well...even you would do something desperate." Rajih shook his head before smiling at her. "Don't worry Riba, After tonight, thanks to you, I won't need to siphon magic for awhile. Plus you shouldn't offer something so precious so freely." He almost reached out to pat her on the head but decided against it.
"Oh well!" He continued to be surprised by the girl's resistant attitude before grinning again. He liked the way she acted, strong and tough but then again....when she repeated boy's room a brilliant red flush marred her dark cheeks. It was cute. Remembering now that he had in fact, kissed her to siphon magic, Rajih too blushed as they stood there together for a single moment, each blushing for a different reason.
"Okay...Okay let's get you back." Once the jacket was secured, and with Riba refusing his arm, he poked his head out the door before making a "clear" motion and walked out with her. It was early in the morning, late in the night however you put it where everything was the eerie silent. There was a touch of light from the always lit lanterns for the school hallways as they made there way through.
"Ah....." Rajih looked at her before smiling sadly, "Your really nice Riba. Regardless to what I've done to you, It was nice to meet you." He stopped as they reached her door before turning to look at her, "Say something? Oh don't worry about it. Go to sleep Riba, thank you for...being there." Rajih finished lamely, trying to figure out how to say thanks for letting him suck you dry of your magic and totally being cool about it later. It was kinda of hard. Instead he reached out to brush a stray bang from her face and cocked his head. "Sleep well Tonight then!" He took a step back before turning on his heel and speeding away. Leaving the girl to return to her dorm. His jack forgotten on her shoulders.

She tried to put herself in his position. Her, Riba Samudra, a girl who had always thought she was human, only to realize that she was anything but. It seemed unreal. She had always been human, always had and always will. What would have happened if she had actually turned out to be a majin instead? Would her perception of the world shatter? Would she restrain the primal hunger or would she give into instincts? Riba wasn’t sure, but she was beginning to slowly comprehend the dilemma Rajih was unwillingly thrown into.
“S’not a horror story, not yet!” she insisted, lips pursed for a second. “S’not the end yet. Things dun end unless ya want it to! Ya dun want it to, right?” A hand reached down to cover her stomach. Hunger, was it? Hunger could certainly drive someone to the edge, depending on the strength of deprivation. “But…” Riba frowned. “You need it.”
She gripped the jacket even tighter as she followed him into the hallways. Just like before, it was dead silent and desolate. “N-Nice? Me? I—Uh, s’pleasure to meet ya too.” She lowered her head in a hasty attempt to shield her heated face from her, but her face seemed to only grow hotter as she stumbled over her words. “I—Uh, yer the first majin I’ve met, but yer real nice! So…So dun let this hunger thing get to ya so much.” Riba wondered if her words struck a chord with him. Did they affect him at all? She was someone who made people laugh and did silly things, not reassure others about their internal conflicts.
For a moment, Riba turned fish-eyed as she follows his hand as he pushed a stray strand of hair out of her face. Hopefully, he wouldn’t see the dark blush on her face in the darkness. “Y-Ya…kay…” As Rajih disappeared, she finally noted that he had left behind his jacket. “’ey, wait! Ya left yer—“ She stopped when she realized that he was well out of ear shot now. The witchling sighed and chose to retreat back into her dorm room. She had his name. She knew what he looked like. Somehow, she would find him and return it to him.
