'Twenty-one...Twenty-two...Twenty-three...Twenty-four...Twenty-five.' Twenty-five steps exactly. Finishing up her last step, Tsubaki glanced up at the darkening sky though her low, rimless glasses. 'Looks like rain...' Hands warmly tucked inside her coat pocket, Tsubaki used her naturally long, sharp nails to scrunch up and rip apart the slip of paper that held the challange note to her. Well it wasn't exactly a challange note but a note telling her to leave and that if she didn't to come to the chasm...well, it might as well be considered as one. Obviously, Tsubaki didn't inform her sister of her broken window and the note but with an luck, she go home unhurt. 'Whoever did this is an idiot. I mean, who still tosses notes wrapped around a rock?! And who cares if I'm a jinchuuriki or not, I still made it to Chuunin...immature losers...'

The sound of a branch snapping, brought Tsubaki back from her thoughts and calmly turning her head, spotted the mysterious person who sent the note. The man appeared to be older than her by at least 5 years and from the looks of it, should be around a Sp.Jounin or Jounin rank. His eyes held the familiar distest Tsubaki was used to seeing but learned to ignore over the years. "So you actually came Kuroi Akuba. You should have just left when you had the chance." The man shifted to an offensive position and took up a kunai. Face neutral, Tsubaki merely blinked before completely turning to face the man. "I see no reason to leave, seeing as how I'm not a witch nor know what my offense to you is. All I do is live and serve my village...something that you seem to waste your spare time not doing." Her words were cool and controlled but within her pockets, her claw-like nails were itching to wring the man's neck. "Che. Acting all cool will get you nowhere you beast. My younger brother died cause of you. All because you had to go and lose it during a mission. His heart suffered from an overdose of electrical shocks. They said it was the enemy but I know better. I know the powers of the Rokubi and how just one hit from its tail could cause electrical damage equal to getting hit by lightening. It had to be your fault. It just had to be! Now die!" Anger obviously taking over his judgement, the man charged towards Tsubaki in a feat of blind rage. As he neared her, he in cased his blade in flames. 'A katon user huh? This'll be fun...' Rooted to her spot, Tsubaki waited till the man swung to dodge. With her natural enhanced speed and power over raiton techs, Tsubaki had no difficulty avoiding his attack. Landing in the shallow stream, Tsubaki could only wonder if the man was as smart as he claimed to be.

He obviously wasn't all that smart as he charged knowingly into the water while still swining his flame encased kunai. 'Don't know if I should praise him or insult him...he obviously forgets my power over raiton...' Before she could react though, the water belowed her bubbled and suddenly chains of water shot up from around her, wrapping themselves around her wrists which were still partcially resting in her pockets and her exposed ankles. "Tsk. Didn't expect this..." As she struggled with her binds, the man got nearer and from the looks of it, her struggling amused him. 'Idiot...' Once more choosing to wait untill her opponent was close enough, Tsubaki simply released a sigh and closed her eyes. In her current situation, there was no way she would be safe without calling about the powers her sly roomie. Afterall, it was because of him, that she gained as much favor over lightening as any other elements.

Slipping into her mind, Tsubaki found herself in a realm of darkness, a tall metal gate and the sounds of electricity crackling all around being her only source of company. Having already gotten use to it all, Tsubaki didn't mind the emptiness as she casually strolled over to the metal gate and kicked on it. "Oi, wake up. I know you're there Rokubi, no point in acting nervous or shy or whatever persona you're acting today. For a few seconds, nothing happened but then a small hissing noise could be heard and then a flash of light as something charged towards the gate that bounds a bijuu to its host. Electricity crackled all around the creature and its six tails made of pure electical currents were easily seen but ignored. Remaining calm, Tsubaki simply stared up at the Rokubi's face and waited for it to speak. Seeing it's host's unemotional face, it hissed again before speaking. "Insolent child. You think you know me and yet you know nothing." Raising an eyebrow, Tsubaki simply sighed and shook her head. "Why does it matter if I know you or not? All I know is that you are a decieving little weasel and because of you I've been abadoned by my parents. So if you intend to host in me, you better be willing to pay the rental fees." Hissing once more, the Rokubi narrowed its eyes at its host before letting loose some electrical currents through the gates. "Its not over yet..." "It never is..." Tsubaki uttered and she stared at the current gathering into her open palm...

Outside, the man was laughing crazily, assuming he had finally gotten the best of the feared host but just as he was once more about to swing, Tsubaki's eyes shot open. Unlike before, her eyes were now a eerir purple colour and electrical currents began to surround her body as her normally smooth, silky hair became spiked and her hands which were originally in her coat pocket, pierced through as her nails grew longer and thinner. Two small fangs also rested on her lips as her two kanine teeth grew longer with her awakening as well. Taken a back by her transformation, the man halted only to continued once more in his charge beliving this to be proof of his belief. Tsubaki was a monster and needed to be killed. "Die!" Smirking, Tsubaki eyed the man as he jumped and aimed to slice her from head to toe. Smirking, Tsubaki freed her hands from the remainder of her coat pocket and stretched them just as she released lightening from her core. The lightening connected with both the water and his kunai, causing small electrical currents to shock through him.

For Tsubaki though, being bound by water caused her to receive some shocks as well but they were deem minor as the Rokubi's powers prevented her from really getting hurt by its own element. The charge itself was powerful though, strong enough to reduse the chain technique to puddles of water. Smiling, Tsubaki, flicked her spiky hair aside as she stared blackly at the partically stunned jounin lying on the bank of the stream. "Given up yet? You hold no advantage over me. This is my home playing field. To continue means death." Eyes narrowing, the man spit towards Tsubaki's feet before looking at her with a menicing glare. "If I have to die than so be it but be sure that I'll drag you with me to the depths of Hell itself." Releasing several low grunts, the man pushed himself back to his feet and charged once more. Releasing a sigh, Tsubaki knew that if she wanted out, then she had to at least knock the poor man unconcious. 'Game time...'

[Some time later...]

Tsubaki skidded to a stop using her nails and boots as she breathed deeply in and out through her mouth. What she had expected to be an easy fight had prolonged to the point where her stanima was running out. 'D*** it. He's proving to be more of an annoyance than I originally expected...sis is gonna kill me...' By now, most of her body and clothes have been either smeared with dirt or covered with light burn marks. Meaning that she'll have surely have difficulty keeping this from her sister. '*sigh* So much for a quick win...' Approximately three metres from her current location, stood her opponent's bent figure. Like her, he was getting more and more tired but from the looks of it, he still held the advantage. "Argh...curse him..." Grunted Tsubaki as she dug her nails deeper into the earth. Somehow, during their match, the two had relocated from the rocky stream and into the small forest clearing leading into the chasm. Which meant, no more water aside from their own semi-soaking selves.

From the back of her mind, a cracking, hiss like laugh resounded and Tsubaki tsked in annoyance. 'What?!' 'Oh, nothing...just enjoying your suffering...shall I step in and pay next month's rent in advance?' The Rokubi ended with another strange hiss like laught at the joke and waited for Tsubaki's answer. 'Like I need anymore help from a weasel like you? You're a -' Before Tsubaki could finish, her opponent launched a fireball technique at her and she had to evade. Pushing off the ground from all fours, Tsubaki shot up towards the air and performing a backflip mid-air, landed once more by the bank of the stream. Still panting, Tsubaki did her best to steady her breathing. 'I'm a what exactly...' Asked the Rokubi as it chucked away at Tsubaki's expense. From the sounds of it, he was really enjoying her fail attempt at a supposedly "fast" win. Releasing a low huff, Tsubaki narrowed her eyes more as she responded to her demon. 'As I was saying, you're a caniving little weasel that just can't be trusted. I might lie a lot myself but at least I do offer my trust to some people. Unlike you!'

Concentrating on the area in front of her, Tsubaki released more electrical currents and molded them into four miniature orbs of crackling electricity [Thunder Orbs - B rank]. As the jounin came towards her once more with another offensive katon technique, this time Tsubaki was ready for him. As he swung his flame incased can towards her, Tsubaki used the Thunder Orb Connection technique to connect them together and form an instant barrier of electrical currents. As the two connect, an small explosion covered the area and Tsubaki felt herself loosing her footing and flying back into the shallow waters of the small stream.

'Argh...I forgot how much more taxing it is for me to use ninjutsu...' Groaning, Tsubaki did her best to get back up but her attempts to plop back onto her elbows weren't looking too successful at the moment...The jounin on the other hand, got up with almost the same amount of struggle but he at least managed to get up, unlike Tsubaki. Panting as well, the man made his way over to where Tsubaki laid exhausted and unable to get up. His eyes still held that crazed and angry look and it would appear as if she would meet her end. As the man rose his hand up and engulfed it once more in flames. Closing her eerie purple eyes, Tsubaki did her best to find the strength to fight back. "Ha...ha...seems the witch is finally at the end of her rope eh? Well say goodbye cause you're not gonna last this next attack..."

The same loud hiss like laughter erupted through her mind and suddenly, Tsubaki found herself, tattered and beated in front of the Rokubi's cage once more. "Welcome back Tsubaki...wow...you seem to have it tough...sure you still don't need my help?" The way the Rokubi spoke was silky smooth and portrayed no real concern over Tsubaki's current state. If anything, he was mocking her, something that Tsubaki knew for a face. 'Jerk...' Gray eyes narrowing at him, Tsubaki's face reverted back to its usual calm as she tried to reason with the normally cunning demon. "Shut it Rokubi, I don't need to hear it from you. But if you're gonna help me than help me but don't even think for a moment, I'll give you control of my mind. As long as I breathe and live, know that you will never get a chance at taking over my body." Rokubi chuckled at Tsubaki's statement but didn't bother to respond. "Very well...take it...but know that your mind will never be as stable as you claim it to be dear..." Those were the Rokubi's parting words as yellow, purple blended chakra/energy flowed though the cage towards Tsubaki.

Laughing crazily now, the jounin, took on more look at Tsubaki's exhausted figure before swinging down with all his might..."Time to end this!...Wha-?!" Jumping back, the man stared at shock at his fallen opponent. Similar to before, just before he could land his attack, something happened, causing him to stop. This time though, Tsubaki was surrounded by a yellow glow, similar to eletricity and as Tsubaki reopened her eyes, the glow faded only for actual eletrical currents to take its place. From the water, a single, thin, eletrical tail swayed back and forth. Hair more spiked now, Tsubaki's eyes took on a deeper shade of purple and both her kanine teeth and claws became even shaper and longer. Releasing a soft growl like noise, Tsubaki rolled over onto her knees and hands. Pushing up on her feet, Tsubaki was now on all fours and from the looks of it, a real beast. Turning on the man, Tsubaki widened her eyes in a stare before charging off after his shivering form at a speed much greater than before but still not enough to loose track off. As she reached the man who had somehow regained his composure, Tsubaki leaped and swung at him with her tail while he aimed to slash at her with another flame covered kunai...A loud scream could be heard from the forest as the ravens left their perch and took to the skies...

When the recon group arrives, all they will find is Tsubaki lying unconcious will numerous burn marks and bruises and another body, electricuted to perfection. Other than that, the girl appeared to be find. The other body on the other hand, when examined, will show that his heart had entered cardio arrest after being stuck by lightening too many times...
