The main depressing thing is my school. So much work. But it's not just that. It's the fear of what people think about you. Everytime I walk the halls I think people look dead at me. I get nervious and think I got something in my face or something. I have also evaded talking to girls seeming that the whole school is filled with male. What are the chance I will get a serious relationship if there are hundred of people that look better than me. gonk

God I know that feeling...you just need to give yourself a chance, you need to build up some confidence, start with just getting some friends and getting more active.

Take a chance and talk to someone. Make some new friends. Don't worry about what other people might think of you, because their opinions don't matter unless they're your friends.

Doesn't matter how you look. In high school, my now-ex-boyfriend was about 6 feet, and weighed over 200 pounds. Yes, he was a bit overweight. At the same time, my 3 closest guy friends ranged from being red-headed and tall and skinny, to tall, blonde, and overweight.
Really, looks don't matter with true friends, and they shouldn't matter. Anyone who is really your friend won't hassle you about what you look like.

I'm ugly and found someone who actually likes the way I look, so don't give up on yourself - just be who you are and things will turn out okay.

A good friend of mine once gave me this advice:
"It's just high school."
Despite what you might feel, you have to remember that, other than academics, almost nothing you do here will have a direct impact on the course of your life. Not too many people will find their one true love in high school, and generally not even in college. Hell, I know a guy who couldn't get a date until he was 34, and he's happily married now. So relax, it doesn't matter.

I agree with Uyoko, and it's true..same thing with me.. I'm ugly..well..I think I'm ugly..I don't know what anyone else would think but most people think i'm ugly too. But I found someone who actually thinks i'm beautiful...sometimes it's hard to believe what they say but they might truely mean it.. And yeah, you have to just be yourself, go with the flow, screw whatever anyone else thinks...I used to get all paranoid and think everyone was just looking dead at me and I let it bother me so much.. Now it's different, I think I just changed and got used to it or something..I overcame it and it's all good now. You shouldn't take it too seriously...it is just highschool..Be yourself and don't let anything get ya down! 3nodding Well...it works for me...I dunno about you... And remember,
"The ones who matter don't mind, and the ones who mind don't matter."

Thats deep, yo. anyway.... look man looks dont matter, and your only in high school. you have your whole life ahead of you. right now the only thing on your mind should be school, not girls... yeh, some people have gfs/bfs, but i think its just a distraction. right now, just get good grades, and succeed in life so that when you find the right girl, you can support your family....
